Those who want to trade it in when complete, it's £8 preowned in CEX.

No he's saying you can trade in the used copy when complete, it's £8 used in CEX

But this deal is for the download.

SCORCHING! :man:
who'd have thought that in 2015 we'd see a download from Nintendo for a bargain price? is it April?!

Ye, he did say it was a good price for digital, but £8 preowned for a physical copy is good too, just giving people the information to buy either if they wish

It's not helpful though is it if the cheapest physical copy out there is say £20.
Was helpful to me anyway, as I prefer physical copies and I want to keep the remainder of my eshop balance for MM DLC

:-P They do sometimes have these really good deals on the eShop but they don't really advertise them, which is mad!

Yeah - I meant for anyone who prefers physical, it's £8 in CEX.

Huh, how is this a deal? You can buy the physical game for £7.99 at Amazon mind you it's used but you can always resell if you want and play on any Wii U without worrying if Nintendo will screw with your online account/purchase. £7.99 from an Amazon seller and no need to visit CeX.
It is a deal. It's a deal for those seeking a digital copy.
gizmo2501
27 Oct 15#18
How is it NOT a deal? It's a deal by virtue of being a lot cheaper than it usually is on the only storefront for digital purchases for the Wii U.
What's more, you have compared a physical, used copy to digital. Some people prefer digital. Also, you just call Nintendo to switch it to a new console should you need to.

A deal consists of being a cheaper price than elsewhere. This is not.
Because Nintendo digital purchases are surely reliable and forever with its customer.

You clearly have no understanding of how this works.
This is a different product to a physical purchase.
This is the cheapest this product has been.
Therefore, it is a deal.
You are forever moaning on every thread. It's boring.

The cheapest it's ever been? Definitely not. I bought it for £3 a couple months ago so that's a lie.
P.S.: If users are clueless then obviously someone has to call them out on.

That's your opinion. People have disagreed with it. You have also compared a used physical copy to a digital version. FYI not everyone wants to buy an item that has had somebody elses grubby hands on it. I don't see second hand items as being a deal when they are posted on this site.
Also, no, not if the deal is not from a reputable seller. I'm not talking about this case.

You are the one who is calling people clueless but you yourself are being clueless about other peoples opinions.
Also, again, not if person has to travel just to save £2 when they can order it online and have it delivered.
Gamer_U

I have proved you and others wrong yet you decide to pretend as if it never happened. That person doesn't need to travel, it costs exactly the same online from Amazon sellers and don't tell me you never bought a used game. I'm sure you did.

You have proved nobody wrong.
Perhaps you should look up the word 'opinion'
Look at comment #24 I'm not talking about this specific deal. If a person has to travel to purchase something for the sake of £2 then I don't see it as a deal, which will be the same for other people.

So hotshot, how is buying online needing to travel?

The problem is in Nintendo's online service that it's still very primitive but if you want to take a risk, then sure, go ahead. Then again, it's only £7.99.

Crikey, what's all the pointless comments...it's a good deal for a game whose digital price is usually a lot more, end of story.
The physical version albeit the same game is s different product in terms of the media used, go to the shops, but a used or new copy at a lower price, the same or whatever, be happy people, it's all good, but it if you want it, don't if you don't, it's a free world baby.

Exactly. Gamer_U is just an angry troll. Very negative. He's posted similarly negative things in other threads. This site is here to help people find deals. It's people like him that make the community worse by pointlessly abusing people and being rude.
