London, 1868. The Industrial Revolution unleashes an incredible age of invention, transforming the lives of millions with technologies once thought impossible. Opportunities created during this time period have people rushing to London to engage in this new world. A world no longer controlled by kings, emperors, politicians or religion, but by a new common denominator: money.
However, not everyone is able to enjoy the benefits of this boom. Despite fueling the engine of the British Empire, workers’ lives are little more than legalised slavery while the top few percent profit from their labour. Living poor and dying young, the lower class unite together in protest as a new kind of family – gangs – who turn to a life in the underworld in their struggle to survive. A struggle, until watchful Assassins come to their side and re-ignite an age-old conflict involving London’s leaders that will echo throughout modern history from the underground, up.

According the the NPD figures this game failed badly, so unless you want to play it now I would hold as I predict a £20 pre xmas price

Complete nonsense, definitely one of the better games in the series.

It's definitely not a bad game though, after Unity no one trusts them and its time of release was with strong competition. But Syndicate is more comparable to AC2 and is one of the best AC in years.

Tempted as it looks like the best price around but with Black Friday on the way this also looks like a dead cert to be in there somewhere. Loved the first two, the third was ok but offered little in originality. I didn't play the last game due to the awful early reviewsand got bored of the previous two to that one very early with the repetetive ship battles etc. This one looks like an improvement.

In fairness its a good game. Agree that the price will drop to 25 soon as the release of this game just got dumped in between fifa/pes and battlefront/cod. It was always going to fail.

Heat for finding a good deal for people that want to play this game now but like others I think this will be at a lower price in the next month or so.

Heat for the price but I think Ill wait for either Black Friday or near Christmas like everyone else has said. I was a fan of Black Flag and Unity and Syndicate looks good.

Typical, bought this last week from Game Collection for the normal price and it goes on sale now :P
Enjoyable game though, having quite a bit of fun with it and London is recreated in great detail (from what I could tell). Not as good as Black Flag but one of the best recent AC titles

what is the NPD figures, you really need to me to proof it? here you go
Software:
1.) Halo 5: Guardians (XBO)
2.) NBA 2K16 (PS4, XBO, 360, PS3) [Note: Second Month]
3.) Assassin's Creed: Syndicate (PS4, XBO)
4.) Madden NFL 16 (PS4, XBO, 360, PS3)
5.) WWE 2K16 (PS4, XBO, 360, PS3)
6.) FIFA 16 (PS4, XBO, 360, PS3)
7.) Destiny: The Taken King (PS4, XBO, 360, PS3)
8.) Yoshi's Wooly World (NWU)
9.) Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection (PS4)
10.) Rock Band 4 (XBO, PS4)
Assassins creed sold 391K, that is a MASSIVE failure, so dont come in here tell me I am talking nonsense when you have not go any evidence except to say "uhh it is really good so if I like it it must meant the rest of the world liked it" nonsense, it failed, and failed hard

Gonna be Black Friday and Xmas sale fodder just like the new nfs. Heat added as a great price and was almost tempted to buy last night.

I don't dispute the figures, I just don't agree with the failure part.
The game sales were let down because of it's predecessor - this game is miles ahead of that one.

AC games are usually around the £20 mark roughly 2 months after release so heading in the same direction. It's a decent game, though not as great as Black Flag.

Wasn't feeling Black Flag much, the open seas got boring, and I passed on Unity too as it was apparently awful, this looks great and being a local it is close to heart as well. Gonna wait until Friday but if nothing comes along this is a fair price imo
