Wow! You ARE a comedian. Just not a very funny one.
Let's hope you remember your spiteful sense of humour when you've forgotten everything else. that would be karma.

Please excuse me for misguidedly agreeing with someone who is so "hard of understanding" that they don't realize it.
Best ask your carer to explain things for you in future.

Either you don't recognise sarcasm, or you haven't read who said what very carefully. It was me that made the clear distinction between cheap and 'value for money' (post 6) above - and I'm very well aware that Poundland is frequently not the cheapest, nor the best value for money, Thank you.

Hi Quadrille,
A LOT of things in £ shops are far dearer than in other shops.
Paracetamol, for instance, 20p in Wilkinsons.
Diarrhoea medicine, 59p in home bargains.
A low price does not always mean cheap.

I suspect on his logic EVERYTHING in the 99pStores is a bargain, by definition.
Prepare for wholesale listings!
Mind you, 99pStores do have a fine history of better stuff than poundland; shame they got taken over :disappointed:

He only understands price - not value for money. They could sell four for a pound, or five, and he'd still not see it as a hot deal, as it's still £1.
Sell one for 75p, however, and he'd be cracking open the champagne.
[added] Thinking about it, if Poundland sold an iPhone for a pound, he'd vote it down. Weird. [/added]

Why should I become a comedian? I was not trying to be funny. I simply wondered why you didn't see this as a deal. I didn't think it was a difficult question to answer.

What an idiot.
Value for money either means a lower price than other stores - or more for your money than other stores.

Are you serious?
Anyway I never understood why someone would use a roll-on rather than a spray.
