Found this the other day - seems they released a "new" limited edition version of Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire to European markets - includes a Pokedex poster and a Pokeball game holder. It's listed around 60 GBP on amazon UK, and significantly higher than 26.16 everywhere else I've looked. Heck, it's even cheaper than the base game from some places.

Not bad at all, though you'll need to add shipping (€3.98 for the cheapest service) for mainland UK delivery.

This is not the same as the £60 uk one! This has a pokeball cartridge holder, and a poster and is sometimes called the "starter box". The £60 one has a steelbook and is the actual special edition.

It's worth more than the Limited Edition though.

I can only find one UK shop that sells this and it's for £43. Seems rare? May become a collectible.
Edit - Amazon UK sell it too but for £62

It's not really worth more, it's new and Nintendo fix their prices, but the game is old and demand is low. The price doesn't mean it's valuable, just bait for collectors

One is easily available at £25-30. The other is only sold in two shops and worth £45-60. I'd say it's worth more.

You keep saying "worth" when talking about price :innocent:
I mean go ahead and buy it, ebay them, whatever, i'm not stopping you. But know Nintendo are milking their collectors like there's no tomorrow and bubbles always burst.

It's a shame it's not the steel book edition but it's a lot cheaper than the standard edition at the moment. Heat from me

In regards to collectivity (as I am a collector, hence buying this when I already have both steelbook copies with the figurines - courtesy of Nintendo UK store) - I'm pretty sure this price is incorrect considering it's a mere 2.60 EUR more expensive than their base game, and every other retailer that lists this (which are few in number) has it for a full 60 RRP.
Whether or not this becomes "rare" or "collectable" is yet to be seen. The steelbook hasn't exactly gone up in resale value at all, and is still available for purchase brand new from many retailers. For all you know, due to a lack of sales, this could very well become the "rarer" version of the game. For sure, I think it comes in a much more attractive, albeit space consuming, box and aesthetics absolutely count towards collectability too.
Regardless of all that - this is a good price for the game as is. The fact that you get all the extras and potentially higher resale value is absolutely worth it, doesn't matter what kind of buyer you are at this point.

I had the Omega Ruby version pre-ordered (3 Euro more at the time), but Alpha Sapphire wasn't even listed then.
Have now ordered that too, and it said £30.09 in total, which is a really good deal.
Great to have the set as a collector, and all for around the £60 mark.

The poke ball one is a game exclusive in this country I believe

Years ago when I got Omega Ruby on pre-order from game, they were giving the Pokeball game holder as well. I did not know that counted as a collector's piece.

Want these, but can't justify buying them when I have the two games in Steelbook editions. Heat added though.

Some people bit not want to wait, and that price doesn't include postage. Additionally if you have a gift card or points you can get a good deal. Both of mine was just under £60, which is a good deal

both of mine were 52 quid - delivered. Not only that, but they arrived 2 days after I ordered them.
If you're looking to get a product faster at the expense of a cheaper price, then maybe hotuk/deals/ isn't the place to promote it?
I may be coming across overly negative here, but I think anyone who wants to spend /more/ money to buy something from GAME of all places, needs their head examined.
