Tempting, it's a shame Amazon UK won't price match ES.

It will, you would of had trouble . if it was a none European version , then you would need to set up another psn account

Its a EU version the same as you would buy here and has a 2 year warranty as it was a EU console, you cant go wrong a £46 saving over Amazon UK. I have a Xbox one but am thinking of getting a PS4 as i did have one at launch but it failed in 4 days with the blue light issue and had to be returned and because it was launch just before Xmas i couldnt get another so had to settle for a Xbox but ive never really been happy with it. My TV unit is busting under the load of boxes and consoles i dont know where id put it.

So with PS4's hitting the £250 mark even for 1Tb it's even more glaringly obvious you're paying extra for the ..ahem...'included' game. Included in the box yes. Included in the price : no. And this is one game you'd really regret paying extra for.

I think that is a bit harsh on the game. I have it pre-ordered at £28 and I am looking forward to it!

I've always enjoyed the Battlefront games of old - I still regularly play SW BF2 on my PC. Looking forward to the new one, seemed canny on the Beta test.
Well I hope you enjoy it but what Star Wars fans actually wanted was a single player campaign - entirely wasted opportunity. And the pre-alpha leaked reports had some who tried it out called it a "re-skinned Battlefront 4" which is...even less impressive. Basically it's down to the dreadful DLC milking which no one apart from EA and other publishers actually like, which has led to this game having, upon release, less content than Star Wars Battlefront 2. This is not the stuff of dreams. But hopefully we'll see something decent released in the coming couple of years to make up for this atrocity.

Got to agree. The beta was not good. Got very old, very quickly.

Cheap place to buy a UK plug or do I not need to bother? I don't want to run the plug through an adapter all the time.
I asked them very nicely and they matched the ES price. Thanks for the advice, didn't know they did that!

Well I'm a Star Wars fan and Battlefront is all about the multiplayer. Always has been.

I just contacted live chat and they weren't able to price match the ES website? Any tips?

I emailed customer service and asked them nicely (as speculatrix suggested) and they came back quite quickly with a "we don't price match normally but in this instance we will"

If I was to purchase this bundle, will the downloads be region locked? I'd prefer not to create a new PSN account and just login using my UK one.

No idea mate. Sorry.
Maybe someone else can answer?

Coming from a channel virtually sponsored (if not in monetary terms they were certainly given extensive access) by EA, decent men though they are, perhaps slightly less biased example might have been a better choice....

It was just a link to the video, it's pretty plain to see from this and the countless videos and hands on out there - that to call this game 'atrocious' was pretty dumb!
