Just been into GAME in Festival Place Basingstoke to buy Metal Gear Solid V and noticed that PES 2016 Day One Edition for the PS4 was £19.99. This is a great price for a good football game now they're fixing the transfers. You can also import all the authentic kits into the game. I bought this for £31 about a month ago and spent a few hours updating all the teams for the English leagues. Still far from perfect but it's a great alternative to FIFA at half the price!

They also had the Xbox One version but that was £29.99 for some reason. Not sure if this is national or not as I've looked on the GAME website and it's still £35.

Same price as ASDA then. £30 for MGS, £20 for PES. In ASDA they're both £25 each :smile:

Of course with GAME you get points...

Great price, I do feel the urge to boycott Konami in all forms after the whole PT/Silent Hills fiasco. MGS5 is such a fantastically deep game though, so I can't stay mad forever.

One of the best features is classic squads from August 2015...

lack of transfer update aside, this game is a steal at this price, incredible gameplay.

I was in my local Game at 5:20 today and it wasn't this price on the sticker, I guess it's possible that they haven't updated it though.

if you play online or exhibition, you can use the live updates which is both but offline tournements have transfers missing unless you want to do them yourself

I didn't buy it as I've already got the game, I went in for MGS V!

Oh and Karlf1986 saw it in the same store as well so we must be imagining things. Maybe it's because GAME is based in Basingstoke?

Correct. Some transfers remain missing. Not as bad as it was 2 weeks ago where none had been updated(6 weeks after release).

Is this a step up from PES 2015? Game play on PES always better than FIFA, but for once I'd like PES to have decent graphics.

team updates have been sorted over the past few weeks. still on going I think. online is great more realistic than fifa I think.. still alot of team without proper team names etc. but overall guys I'd take a punt at this price.. yous will enjoy no doubt

Probably assumed things like that would be updated before release or patched on day 1. Gameplay wise it isn't bad, one or two issues but overall better than fifa. Doesn't take long to update team names and there are files out there for kits (but no single option file to do this on PS4, despite what Konami claimed) but if playing with the latest players matters then better off waiting until it's patched, another 4 - 6 weeks.

£34.99 in my local store too so looks like a store specific offer or that they have mispriced it.

Deal should be expired seeing as no one has found it apart from op.
