It ain't on offer very often so this is a good price for a lovely whisky - heat added.

Quite right. I think it is a distinctive whisky, almost creamy. Definitely a winner at this price.

I paid 40 quid for a litre at Heathrow "duty free" (as in, "we keep the duty unless you're going out of the EU") a couple of weeks ago. Pleasant enough, but I prefer something a bit more challenging.

I've got a bottle of this on the go at the moment. Lovely whisky and the beautiful packaging makes it a great Christmas present.
But yes, it is cheaper at Amazon.

Being a Welsh man I'm a fan, but this isn't my favourite.
But I can highly recommend a tour of the distillery, its very short, but informative and you get 2 decent tasters / miniatures.
Amazon and living social both usually have deals. But the price of their whiskey is rrp in the shop.

I tested this whiskey in a shop in Chester, hmm wasn't impressed. The Nikka I tried at the same which was around £90 a bottle was a lot better as you might expect. The Penderyn just was average tasting to me. Sorry to the Welsh as 50% of my family are Welsh. I lived in North Wales since the age of two until I was 30, so even though I was born on Merseyside I have a fondness for Wales and will move back there one day, however when it comes to quality Whiskey, I can't afford to mess around, this was just ok.

Good supermarket price, although I've never paid more than £30 for this (Amazon, as previously mentioned).

Love this stuff. Not a huge fan of whisky overall if I'm honest, but if I had to choose one, would be this one. Also recommend you try Danzi Jones which is a whisky liqueur, different obviously but easier on the *everything* if you don't fancy or don't like full blown whisky.
My missus loves it too, a great late night tipple.
