I have one and it's fantastic. It's such a useful device, for checking notifications, turning on/off WiFi, data etc with dashboard, using it for navigation with NavMe and as a speedometer while cycling. There are no pairing issues that I experience. I love it!

In what way? They both tell the time, both support notifications on your wrist and 3rd party apps. One is however a £45 (after cash back) product with an e-ink based screen and was designed to enhance your existing smart phone's notifications by bringing them to your wrist, while the other has additional sensors and a full colour screen that burns battery in a day and costs £300+ but does allow you to text/make calls from your wrist.
My wife has an Apple Watch, she loves it. I have a Pebble and it does pretty much exactly what I need a smart watch to do, despite being products in the same category I'd not suggest they are aimed at the same demographic.
For me I wanted a watch that didn't leave me shackled to a charger, I don't want to send messages from my watch or make calls but answering or declining calls and reading messages is useful, having audio control over my phone, the ability to control Wemo devices, get notifications, track deliveries, remote control media devices etc. I don't need to make calls or struggle to reply to messages - I have a phone for that.

So, after some non-scientific testing over the past few days, I am apparently using the same amount of battery as I was before the update, which is around 10% per day. So, no real damage or benefit in terms of battery life for me.
Really liking the new update, timeline makes so much sense on this kind of device

I've not used the new OS for that long to know how much it affects the battery life. It is snappier, and has more animations, but I wouldn't have thought it took any more battery to do so.
Will be using it this weekend, but just as a guide, i use 10% a day. Can report back in a few days, but the new OS is really nice during my initial time with it

Hmm.. Have you checked the PebbleTime app, and gone through the settings and switched the notifications on?
And have you given the PebbleTime app notification access in your phone's settings?
Done that but seem to have lost notifications, have tried factory reset/forgetting and pairing watch and phone again etc but no joy, any ideas?

I think you need to install the "Pebble Time" app (which is not the same as the "Pebble" app"), which then pushes the new OS to your smart watch.
Click the link I provided, and it will explain it all.

New Pebble Timeline is really nice. It takes a bit of getting used to, but it's still responsive and fast. Very nice update. No more 8 app limit. More apps to choose from. Win-win.

See several answers above. The Pebble original is currently supported and due a major software update. It's waterproof, the battery lasts 5 to 7 days, and the screen is readable in daylight.. the brighter the better. It's fully accomplished in extending the functionality of any android or iPhone smartphone.
The SW2 runs dated unsupported android, has a dull screen like all other smart watches and phones, needs charging everyday and isn't waterproof. It struggles to function in its purpose.
The Pebble is monochrome, low res, and has no sound, only vibration.
The SW2 has a colour screen and sound.

Best budget smartwatch you can buy at this price new.
Looks like a toy though so don't expect compliments, 8 app limit (including watchfaces) can be frustrating too.
I can see the benefit of tracking sporting events and GPS but to read texts and control your phone sounds daft, the all the gear and no idea comes to mind.

Went into Currys/PC world yesterday and looked at these smartwatches and I knew the price had gone back up to £69 but when looking at the price label it said £49 and the guy who served me told me he had to sell at the price label so discounted £20 off the online/till price.
Must say I was very impressed with what I saw when having a play with the smartwatch yesterday and am looking forward to using it come Christmas day and now there back down to £49 well worth a punt.

Now £69.99 in store at my local Curry's. I bought one and like what it does. Where I work it is sometimes inappropriate to check my phone if I get a text but can now see a notification on my wrist. I also find it useful for calendar notifications to show on my wrist. The basic music controls through Music Boss app are also very useful. Really glad I bought it.

Had mine for a couple of weeks, and I am glad I bought it. I only use it as a weekend watch, when I am more likely to leave my phone around the house while I get on with my chores (fun times!)
Being waterproof is more useful than I anticipated, and it works well for it's main purpose of telling the time. But, as a mirror of my phone's notifications, it is very useful. It's strength is that it is simple and functional. It's a shame you can't remove the default three watch faces, as this would give you three more slots, so you only have eight slots to install apps into.
I am hoping that the update for the new Timeline OS comes through soon - that will be like having a new Pebble, and should hopefully enhance the watch further.

That's a distinct possibility.
Anything that requires frequent comms between the watch and phone (such as weather updates) can affect battery life at both ends.
If you're going to use one that includes weather updates, best set it to low frequency updates (once per hour max or something).
In short - the more chatter there is between watch and phone, the more battery will be drained. If you want long life on both ends, keep stuff like that to a minimum.
I don't use any weather type watch faces. And I don't use any with active second hands, or other constant animations. Watch lasts a week (I switch it off at night) and phone battery seems just the same as it was before I used the Pebble as far as I can tell. I certainly didn't notice a big drop in battery life once I started using it ....

30 Nov 15#231
It just looks plain!!! What's so good about it? You get notification and that's it?
HankHandsome to dealerxxx
30 Nov 15#233
You can get notifications, sure, but there's a LOT more to it than that. You can control your music player on your phone if you're listening to music. You can install any of the hundreds upon hundreds of apps available as well. You can link it to various fitness tracking apps as well.
You can change the watchface to anything you can find on the app store or you can create your own. It's really not just a notification device.
I've never once tried to touch the screen on either one of my pebbles - i had this one and upgraded to the Pebble Time. Using the buttons is completely natural - at least for me. I know the pebbles do have a microphone built in, but i don't think you can actually take and make calls on the watch itself yet.
You can get notifications of who is ringing you (or texting you) and decide whether or not you want to accept or reject the call (or text). I think if you accept the call you still have to then get your phone out of your pocket.
for what it's worth, i never thought i'd need one but now i'd never do without one. it's incredibly handy to not have to keep fishing my phone out of my pocket if i want to see who's emailed or texted me or if i want to fiddle around with the music i've got playing on iTunes or Spotify.
The sheer convenience aspect of it really is the selling point for me. I know many will say "so what's wrong with getting your phone out of your pocket?" which is a fair question, but if you kept getting emails, texts and calls, wouldn't you rather just have a quick glance at your wrist to see who it is instead of pulling your phone out every few minutes ?
Obviously with the number of apps available, you can do a LOT more than that, but, for me, those are the main reasons I find the watch so useful.
kidd172
30 Nov 15#232
Ok peeps, it doesn't have a touch screen. Do you find yourselves trying to touch the screen all the time or do you quickly get use to the buttons? How do you answer a call, do you just touch the side buttons. I'll check a video on YouTube out but wanted a users opinion

30 Nov 15#229
Bought this on Friday in Curry's and retuned it this afternoon (Monday). The app kept crashing and stoping the notifications, which is the entire point of the watch. I kept having to pair the watch to my phone, and then spend 5mins every day accessing the notifications so that it would work. It's primarily a gimmick! But I couldn't be doing that every day, returned it without hesitation. DO NOT BUY!
janner43 to jtcdrummer
30 Nov 151#230
Well, that was disappointing for you :disappointed:
I'd say either you got a poor one, or
You've got a poor phone, or
You are not familiar with how to setup something like this.
But the Pebble is probably the most iconic Smartwatch that ever hit the market and the smartwatch that started the whole marketplace. The company had sold over 1 million watches worldwide by December 2014 and that number will be much bigger by now.
Your poor experience is not matched by mine or by hundreds of thousands of others. It is not "primarily a gimmick" and anyone in the market for a smartwatch that puts function first should consider one of the Pebble range.

I got rid of mine for one reason. When using Bluetooth streaming of music, in my case in the car, I wanted to use the watch to change track. It worked to change track but would cause an issue with the music streaming and it would constantly cut out. Disconnecting the watch would stop the issues and it's well documented it's a problem. So if anybody wants to buy one to do the same then give it a miss

I bought the SW2 last year and really didn't get on with it, it doesn't really last long having a colour lcd screen and small battery that isnt really 'fixable'. And more importantly the app selection is a pain as it requires everything to go via Sony so is a bit limited. Last negative is the overall UI design, a tiny touchscreen still using tiny icons is a big no no for smartwatches in my view, either design around general swipes or use buttons.
I bought the Pebble from Currys on the 28th and must say it is great so far. Having proper buttons make it simple and easy to use and that's not mentioning the massive amount of apps and options. Personally for me i prefer the design also as it feels more like a proper watch as it doesn't have 'Sony' stamped on it and of course the battery is as everyone knows great on the Pebble.
I have had it now for a few days and find it great , put Pebbos on it so I can control my Sonos from it whilst in the shower or bath ! I can also cast from googleplay app to the sonos and see the track and change from the watch .

30 Nov 15#219
I've only essential notifications to be sent to it. Maybe its the weather watch face that uses GPS for location? The one i'm using gives me current weather and weather for the next 3 days based on GPS, so maybe that could be the battery drainer for the S6?

30 Nov 15#216

sancheez to Razwaz
30 Nov 151#218
You sure it's the Pebble?
Install GSAM battery monitor and it'll tell you if it is.
I have some connectivity issues with my Pebble/Note 3/Lollipop 5.0 combo, but it has never been a huge drain on my battery, either on KitKat or Lollipop (and on Lollipop I'm also running a Bluetooth "force reconnect" app which gets round some of the connectivity issues and it's still not a big battery killer). It uses BTLE so shouldn't eat battery life. Unless you have set it to notify you of about a million different things I suppose ....
(Oh, and you should avoid heavily animated watch faces, they can have a negative impact on the Pebble battery life, but shouldn't affect phone battery life)

It's Sharp Memory LCD, which can be considered a form of E-Paper. It has the features of being able to maintain its display state without using any power, which helps the battery life.
E-Ink is a trademark for a particular proprietary display tech which is definitely not used in Pebble.

This is a proper smartwatch. It augments the features on your phone, rather than tries to replace them with pointless fiddly little apps. It is also waterproof.
It also costs 1/6 the price - and has 7 day battery life (vs the 1 day battery life of the Apple Watch).
Apple Watch also only works on iOS, whereas this works on Android/iOS (and to a more limited degree, Windows Phone).
If you are after a smartwatch/activity tracker with built in GPS (so you can track your runs without needing the phone to supply the GPS data), then the MS Band is worth a look.

I was skeptical. Since smartwatches came out I was always one of the ones who complained that first everyone wanted smaller phones, then phones got bigger and bigger and now they come up with watches for people that find their phones too big to take out and use etc.
That being said, I bought one just because of the price and it's been really convenient having one over the past few days. The most useful it's been is during driving, in my 10 year old car which doesn't really have any of the modern tech. It makes it easier to control the music, see who's calling and view and send quick replies. Even in the house I don't have to worry about keeping my phone with me and can leave it on charge in another room whilst still receiving all notifications.
I agree that it's not for everyone but over the past few days I've been really pleased with it and found it's gone from something I never really wanted to something that's almost an integral part of my day to day activities

i've just had a look on the pebble app store and you can get various activity trackers - the one i'm looking at now tracks biking, swimming, running e.t.c..
as a music player, it won't work as a standlone one because it'll only connect to your phone, but if you've got music on the phone, it'll easily handle the stopping and starting and skipping forward or back on the tracks - it's one of the main things i use mine for.
androoski to carpediem
27 Nov 15#160
It needs to be linked to a smartphone, it won't do much on its own apart from tell the time, or run some apps that are preloaded to it. It controls the music player on the phone, it doesn't have a built in player.
Also, it would be big on an 8yo wrist. It has a standard strap fitting, you would probably need to change the strap to a smaller fitting one.

This feature is available on Android, with predefined replies. It's also available on iPhone for AT&T customers in the USA and will be introduced to more iPhone users in the future.
I believe this works, as I connect my phone to Bluetooth handsfree in the car whilst using a pebble and I can answer the calls on the Pebble and the call audio goes through the car handsfree.

27 Nov 15#156
So tempted, but the main reason for me is to not be looking at the phone as much, so just 2 questions for owners.
Can you reply to texts/whatsapp from the watch?
Can I have this connected to my phone along with a bluetooth headset, and then answer a call with the watch and it'll go through headset?
Thanks
Mecoconuts to galgor
27 Nov 151#157
Dialer for Pebble completely revamps calling controls. It allows you to answer calls, decline calls, toggle speakerphone, toggle mic mute right from your pebble.
You can also place calls right from pebble without even touching your phone, by browsing call history or filtering through contacts and groups.
TURN OFF CALL NOTIFICATION IN ANDROID PEBBLE APP. OTHERWISE THIS WILL NOT WORK PROPERLY.
Can anyone recommend the Pebble or Fitbit? Both £49 today. I have a Samsung S6 and go running around 3 times a week plus I don't have a watch so this seems perfect. However I use the Nike+ app on my phone. Any advice?

I've been using the Pebble Time Still since October, backed it on Kickstarter, and if you just want a watch, that's always on, provides notifications, integrates your calendar (it's getting the new timeline for the original in December) then I'd recommend it, they're a fantastic small company with a great online community and for this price, wow!

Picked mine up last night and so far it's been amazing. Price aside, the convenience it provides is worth it alone.
Since last night I've:
* Installed custom firmware to get emojis on it and remove the default watch faces that I don't want
* Received goal alerts for all of the Champions League games
* Used it to control Spotify in the car during the commute
* Received texts, whatsapp and emails. Got SnapChat notifications too but obv can't open them on a watch
* Monitored my sleep activity overnight
It's cool that is has some default quick replies setup, and you can define 5 of your own too
With Spotify I had to enable "Broadcast Device Status" or whatever the setting is in the Spotify app to get the Now Playing to show up on the watch.
I don't mind the looks at all. It's pretty slim, light and to be honest nothing like what I expected - thought it would be more like a bulky Nixon digital watch that I owned.
They had plenty in stock at my local Currys last night. If you're on the fence then I'd recommend going for it. Really can't go wrong at this price.

You should be able to. Just did some reading and your options to get the firmware file onto your phone are:
1. Create the custom firmware by using PebbleBits site on your iphone
2. Create the custom firmware on a desktop/laptop and then copy the download link into your iphone browser
3. Create the custom firmware on a desktop/laptop and then upload it somewhere (Dropbox) or email it to yourself and download on your phone
Once you've got it on, just open the file with the Pebble app and then install it

Definitely this. I have both and unfortunately the Sony runs obsolete software so you're stuck with it's flaws.
Pebble have promised to update the classic to their new OS.

Having said that I've now replaced them both with a Sony SW3 and wouldn't look back....

The firmware update was really straightforward with PebbleBits. I just wanted to remove the default watch faces, but there's other options there if you want to use them. The installation of it is done through the official Pebble app.
EDIT: If you decide to do it just make sure you select the correct firmware from the dropdown list - you can find out what you have on the About page in the Settings of Pebble

This is 2-3 generations behind the latest model (Pebble Steel, Pebble Time, Pebble Round) so its going to be cheap by now its old and technology depreciates fast. £50 seems ok but not a great deal for such a old model.

This is one gen behind the latest Pebbles. The Steel is exactly the same as the Classic other than looks. The Time family is the 2nd gen. Have some heat, this is a great price !
I already own this model and its a fantastic smartwatch paired to my iPhone 6.
Notifications for everything you would normally get on the iphone lock screen (emails, text, facebook, whatsapp, linkedin, ebay etc etc). Plus incoming call alerts (name if in your contacts on the phone), accept and reject calls etc - handy when phone is in your pocket and your on handsfree and/or using headphones with mic.
All though constantly connected via bluetooth I've found the battery life to have improved on my phone as I'm not checking my phone every 5 minutes and when you clear a notification on the watch it clears it on the phone.
Although it doesn't have full GPS built in it will link to the GPS on your phone and if you decide not to go for a walk/run with your phone it can still track the number of KM you have walked/run by using useful apps/watchfaces with that support built in.
What wins it for me vs expensive smartwatches is the 5-7 day battery life

The face is actually much smaller than it seems in photos. As for appearance, it's no stunner but some would say the Apple Watch is pretty ugly, too. There are certainly slicker designs out there.
Just picked two up, one as a present and one for me. This is a crazy price for a very full-featured, established smartwatch. I had a Sony Smartwatch 2 which I sold as it was a complete mess - looked quite nice (with metal loop) but constant disconnections and notifications hardly ever worked properly.
Bear in mind this also takes standard 22mm watch bands, so if you don't like the silicone strap, you can add any you want. A stainless steel Milanese loop can be had on Amazon for a tenner (http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00U5PQ72K and http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00XBJURI2). The equivalent Apple Watch would set you back £599; a version with stainless steel link bracelet is up to £949.
Keep it in perspective, folks. This is a terrific price for a very, very capable smartwatch with a full week of battery life and a healthy app ecosystem - plus you can add any standard watch band you want.

Amazing deal for amazing watch,
I have the same watch and its never off my wrist except once a week when its charged.
When my iphone wakes me up, I snooze it with my watch. No fumbling as the main watch button does it.
When I am listening to podcasts in the bathroom, I have full control.
Its totally water proof so it gets soaked and covered in shaving foam as I control my audio which blasts out from my iphone to a bluetooth speaker.
Same goes for wearing it in the shower.
Driving to work, its far safer to use the pebble to control my audio via the iphone as my hands hardly leave the wheel.
All my text messages appear on the watch, so I don't have to root out my phone from my pocket.
If I lose my phone I can make it ring from my watch.
I never get pairing issues, its tried and tested.
This represents amazing value. Dont waste money on an iwatch that you have to charge every night.
Buy this watch!

"Phone calls
Pebble vibrates when you receive an incoming call and displays number if you have caller-ID. If the caller is in your address book, Pebble will display the name instead.
On iOS, you can accept (Up button), reject (Down button), or dismiss the notification (Back button).
On Android, you can silence the call (Down button) or dismiss the notification (Back button).
Pebble does not have a speaker, so the call will be accepted on the handset, Bluetooth headset or car kit."
I can see a call come in and answer a call on the watch - useful when I've got headphones in and can't be bothered to get my phone out of wherever it is to see who's calling. (You can't answer it and speak into it/hear via the watch itself!)

The only thing I don't like about the original Pebble is its appearance, otherwise I find the Pebbles to be the best functional smartwatches. They tend to lack the gimmicks of the more expensive watches, but get the fundamentals right - like battery life. I used the original Pebble for 2 years, now I'm using a Pebble Time. I'm not impressed by the new Pebble round, which has sacrificed battery life for questionable aesthetics.
There is no GPS integrated into the watch, but it is designed to be paired with a phone and it will use the phone GPS over Bluetooth and can display compass headings, maps and other GPS stuff just fine using dozens of available apps that you can load onto the watch.

How is the Android software on these these days? I had to return my first gen Pebble as it wouldn't stay paired with the Moto G I had at the time, the software was just awful. All Pebble would ever suggest is "remove and reinstall the software, re-pair the Bluetooth connection, restore the firmware". That gets tiresome after the fifth time in one day...

Really liking the new update, timeline makes so much sense on this kind of device
Will be using it this weekend, but just as a guide, i use 10% a day. Can report back in a few days, but the new OS is really nice during my initial time with it
Will have to try support forums as suggested by Fr0d0 but thanks for your help guys
And have you given the PebbleTime app notification access in your phone's settings?
Click the link I provided, and it will explain it all.
New update is out - updates firmware to 3.8
If anyone tries it out, let us know how it goes. I wont have a chance till this evening.
"Better" is a personal opinion
Looks like a toy though so don't expect compliments, 8 app limit (including watchfaces) can be frustrating too.

Will wait and see what that brings!

Must say I was very impressed with what I saw when having a play with the smartwatch yesterday and am looking forward to using it come Christmas day and now there back down to £49 well worth a punt.
Had a few in stock at the Mansfield store(Nottingham road)
Loads still in stock....
White one is still full price @ £99.
If you want that level of functionality, you'd be better off with an Apple Watch.
You can use some aspects of your phone with this, but not "everything".

Could anyone please explain why on earth I might need a smart watch?
I bought the Pebble from Currys on the 28th and must say it is great so far. Having proper buttons make it simple and easy to use and that's not mentioning the massive amount of apps and options. Personally for me i prefer the design also as it feels more like a proper watch as it doesn't have 'Sony' stamped on it and of course the battery is as everyone knows great on the Pebble.
Clclflflz
Install GSAM battery monitor and it'll tell you if it is.
I have some connectivity issues with my Pebble/Note 3/Lollipop 5.0 combo, but it has never been a huge drain on my battery, either on KitKat or Lollipop (and on Lollipop I'm also running a Bluetooth "force reconnect" app which gets round some of the connectivity issues and it's still not a big battery killer). It uses BTLE so shouldn't eat battery life. Unless you have set it to notify you of about a million different things I suppose ....
(Oh, and you should avoid heavily animated watch faces, they can have a negative impact on the Pebble battery life, but shouldn't affect phone battery life)
I need some help and advice on what's worth installing please?
Thanks
Ed
E-Ink is a trademark for a particular proprietary display tech which is definitely not used in Pebble.

It's an open source app used to connect your Android phone and your pebble.
Ordered one for myself, although I was also thinking about Sony Smartwatch 2, we will see, it looks a lovely piece of kit and a truly history maker. TCB tracked at 41p, every penny counts :stuck_out_tongue:
Black was not on display but I would assume its the one everyone buys, making the white simply an expensive oddity.
Good value at this price so hot.
Looking forward to installing some custom firmware / and a few apps. Cracking deal
I use it for: No ring tone, watch vibrates on m wrist to indicate incoming calls and to screen notifications, to quickly see if a message needs a response or can be ignored until later without getting the phone out to check.
But they do a lot of other stuff, people have a lot of different uses for hem.
I think it would be handy for people training and not wanting to look at the arm strap while running?
I didn't buy but can see potential and look forward to the reviews.
Still wondering am I covered to send it back? Opened box, bought online, still like new.
I put it to you that you don't know much about design - this has such a classic, clean, minimalist look that it will never look dated, and likely never go out of style either, since it doesn't subscribe to a specific style, more a form-follows-function design.
Just realised my wifes best friend's husband works @ Curry's
An extra discount will now be asked for if possible
Btw it is a little bit frustrating it does not shows notification for missed call. Or it is just me? LG G4 everything set.
http://www.buyur.co.uk/sony-smartwatch-2.html
as a music player, it won't work as a standlone one because it'll only connect to your phone, but if you've got music on the phone, it'll easily handle the stopping and starting and skipping forward or back on the tracks - it's one of the main things i use mine for.
Also, it would be big on an 8yo wrist. It has a standard strap fitting, you would probably need to change the strap to a smaller fitting one.
I believe this works, as I connect my phone to Bluetooth handsfree in the car whilst using a pebble and I can answer the calls on the Pebble and the call audio goes through the car handsfree.
Can you reply to texts/whatsapp from the watch?
Can I have this connected to my phone along with a bluetooth headset, and then answer a call with the watch and it'll go through headset?
Thanks
You can also place calls right from pebble without even touching your phone, by browsing call history or filtering through contacts and groups.
TURN OFF CALL NOTIFICATION IN ANDROID PEBBLE APP. OTHERWISE THIS WILL NOT WORK PROPERLY.

That's weird, when I went to collect mine they had loads on the shelf marked at £49.00
My order acknowledged at 2015-11-23 17:38 was cancelled at 2015-11-25 14:23.
Ordered from Amazon instead.
I found the Sony deeply frustrating and the pebble I replaced it with like a breath of fresh air!
Having said that I've now replaced them both with a Sony SW3 and wouldn't look back....
Thanks in advance
EDIT: If you decide to do it just make sure you select the correct firmware from the dropdown list - you can find out what you have on the About page in the Settings of Pebble
PS - many thanks, OP - just got the wife one for Chrimbo
I do love the watch though. Miss it when I am not wearing it.
Just picked mine up from PC World, will have a play with it, can any one recommend any decent straps and clear smartphone type covers that are tried and tested?
So far it seems a great way to get into the smartwatch tech without having to fork out a fortune. I have an iphone 6 plus so hopefully it wont have any compatibility issues.
Thanks op :-)
I have the pebble steel which I love. Functionally the same bit looks a lot better (IMHO).
Lollipop bluetooth issues on samsung devices has now been fixed (was a nightmare for a while).
At this price I'd be tempted to get an original one for sports use...
Heat added. thanks
Hot Deal - Pebble Smartwatch - Black, £49 was £99.99 1.05%
I already own this model and its a fantastic smartwatch paired to my iPhone 6.
What wins it for me vs expensive smartwatches is the 5-7 day battery life
No- doesn't change songs on Spotify - as far I know no smartwatch can change music on Spotify, but it does change music for the native music app
Great way to start on the smart watch thing...like everyone says about these pebbles, I am taking my phone out of my pocket less and less because of the watch notifications. Great find OP. Hope the rumours about them getting the timeline in the next few weeks are true as well.
And they probably aren't losing anything. I seem to remember I paid $99 + shipping and crap when I bought mine through Kickstarter, which at the time was around £60. And that was 3 years ago, when the tech was newer.
Just ordered via Amazon
Endomondo & Pebble
I want one just to do the Power Rangers call. [Play sound]. Speak into watch: "Yes, Zordon?"
Only accept or reject calls

is it that good?
I reserved one maybe I can sell it…
not sure…
There is a really good Endomondo App, and Runkeeper will update the Pebble display directly without need for an app.
They definitely do work with iPhones,
There are more examples, this is the first one I found.
Does it have GPS for hiking or anything as info is pretty limited too.
There is no GPS integrated into the watch, but it is designed to be paired with a phone and it will use the phone GPS over Bluetooth and can display compass headings, maps and other GPS stuff just fine using dozens of available apps that you can load onto the watch.
Might make a move to an Apple Watch soon, only thing putting me off is the battery life.
