Good price for a 4K and their great 6 year guarantee.
4K Ultra HD
With UHD (Ultra High Definition) 4K screen resolution, the Panasonic TX-40CX400B brings astonishing levels of detail to your home viewing. This resolution is four times greater than the more conventional 1920 x 1080 Full HD TVs and it's a difference you can clearly see.
Essential apps
Connect up to your home network hub via Ethernet and get access to a range of essential apps. Viewed on the big screen, your favourite entertainment apps can now be enjoyed by friends and family.
USB interface with Media Player
With Panasonic's Media Player you can hook up your USB memory stick and playback a wide range of photo, music and video files. A wealth of customisation functions lets you add your own background music and effects, for a totally bespoke experience.
Four HDMI connections
With no fewer than four HDMI sockets, you can connect up a wide range of component such as Blu-ray player, HD games console, HD camera and your choice of HD TV box - such as Sky, Virgin, Humax or BT. A digital output is ideal for a superior sounding sound base while the headphone socket lets you listen in private. Throw in a SCART socket and even your older sources can be accommodated.
Sleek Panasonic style
With clean, simple lines and a timeless finish, the Panasonic TX-40CX400B is a classic design. Both the slim bezel and narrow depth make this a very unobtrusive design that's ideal as either a main or secondary TV. The new design of stand also makes adding a soundbar neater than ever.
The perfect introduction to 4K TV, the Panasonic TX40CX400B has got the future of TV covered.

I actually prefer my turkey cold which is what this post should be for a 4k tv at 40" unless you want to sit 2 feet from the screen. It would be interesting to see who's panel Vestel use in the 40" but the quality of the 55" was very good on the demo tv in Currys. It wasn't cheap though at £749.00. Maybe that tv is the start of them making towards the higher end of the budget range if there is such a thing.
It would be worth asking Richer Sounds what their guarantee would consist of in terms of compensation or repair when said tv is 5 years and 11 months old.

What would you guys recommend for the best 43 inch 4K smart TV?
Requirements are wifi and voice activation if possible.
If they have I doubt they'd admit it. As said above, crappy 4k 40" screen will be worse than an equivalent priced one at 1080p. Only reason to buy is use as a PC monitor, not sure about input lag though. A lot of TVs in this price range have terrible real world response times.

It's vestel but its pretty good if you get one without the vignetting problem. Handles 4K netflix, plays MKV from usb, supports 2560x1440 mode on PC, 3D works well once you get glasses.

Guaranteed to be better than 1080 at 2 feet from the screen. Clever marketing gimmicks advertising differences most of us won't see unless using as monitor. Take the 4k screen away and you are left with a budget 40" tv for £379.00. Expensive to me but the 6 year warranty is a bonus, however if this is the same as our 6 year protection under UK Consumer Law then Richer Sounds are not really offering anything free at all.

Vestel and 6 year warranty. You don't see that very often.
