Seems like a good deal for a Panasonic 65" - but cant find much on the model...anyone know if this is a rebadge?

Did you mean origin in materials supplied by the manufacturer, not the consumer.
My son recently used the 6 year rule on an electrical item quite recently quoting the part of the act. He has an item that failed after minimal use just over two years old. The original seller, not the manufacturer agreed to pick the item up and repair it if possible if due to a manufacturing fault. Not exactly sure what that means as it's obviosly a defective part but I guess they need to cover themselves in case it has been, shall we say, interfered with. They stated that they would offer a partial refund should the item be beyond economical repair. So we shall await the outcome.

As with UK law, a seller is not bound by the guarantee 'if the (fault) has its origin in materials supplied by the consumer'. But the EU rule does not require the buyer to show the fault is inherent in the product and not down to their actions.

They are made by Vestel in Turkey. Only the models ending in 300B and 400B that I know of. The 300B is a terrible tv with really bad motion blur. The 400B in 4k had quite a nice picture when I was in Currys the other day.
You can do a quick check of the Panasonic models in store. All genuine Panasonics will say assembled in Czech Republic. The ones made by Vestel will say assembled in Turkey. It's on the boxes and also on the label on the back of the tv.

a £50 coffee machine and a £20 kettle gets 2 years warranty and £500+ tv's are being sold with 12 month manufacture warranty... what a joke...

Under EU law you can claim a two year warranty although we also had a new act brought in October 2015 which hopefully simplifies things. I am not sure how EU law coincides with our laws but why our government couldn't just follow EU policy and states ALL GOODS TO HAVE A 24 MONTH WARRANTY is beyond me. We now have a tiered system as follows. More info via Mr. Google.
Up to 30 days - If goods are faulty then you are entitled to an immediate refund
Up to 6 months - If it can't be repaired or replaced then refund in full
Up to 6 years - Partial refund. (This will be the tricky one)
Also interesting was to see that goods should be as described at time of purchase so does that mean my IPS panel LG described by LG as having their unique IPS panel, which in reality has an A-MVA panel by AU Optronics qualifies for a refund or exchange. My television did not match the description at time of purchase.
The description of Panasonic's 300B and 400B could be under question here. However Panasonic take responsibility for these models even though they are not made by them so it's perfectly legal.

Doesnt look like the 65" Digihome so i assume this isnt a rebadge .
Vestel make all their stuff now. You might as well buy a 65" Bush tv.

Why is this a HUKD pick when there are no tech specs to actually confirm if it's a good TV or not ?
It promotes people just buying (what could potentially be a crap tv not suited to their needs) as its a "HUKD Pick".
Not shooting down the OP, just the mod who seems to be picking these deals at random to highlight to the community without actually checking if they are good or not first.......

Looks like a genuine panasonic. I'd have bought one but the system won't let me past the delivery page.
There are a few HD (not 4k) sets not much above 1k, I'm sure we'll see more coming down as we get black Friday and Xmas

The instruction manual is printed in the Czech Republic if that's a help. I did see another post for the 620B for a smaller screen and it was posted as not made by Vestel. Best way to check is just go to Currys and have a look at the label on the tv or on the box. If it says assembled in Turkey then it's Vestel but I don't believe this model is. No doubt someone else will confirm.
There are no reviews on REVOO for the 65" but there are 10 consumer reviews for the 55" if this helps. 9 of the 10 reviewers gave it 8 out 10 or higher.
it'll be one of those pcworld/ currys only badges.
That way they can control the shill reviews and the consumer cannot compare price and quality in order to make an informed decision.
