Just ordered one, was going to go for the 20000mah posted earlier from amazon but was put off by the fact it weighed 0.5kg. Does anyone know how many times this will charge an iphone 6? Im guessing 2ish times?

Anyone had any issues with these.?
I got one last month from Bangood when posted on here. I only used it once, took it on a day trip to London to charge my Samsung Galaxy S6. The same day my phone stopped taking a change, it seems like the charge port is damaged. Can't say if it was the Xiaomi or not but my phone was working and charging perfectly before. Perhaps it was charging on the go, and movement of the cable in the micro USB?
Anyone else experienced anything similar?
I also noticed my phone got quite hot when charging from the Xiaomi, this would never happen when plugged into the mains or on the wireless charger.
My phone is with Samsung now, hopefully being repaired, doubt I'll risk using the Xiaomi when I get it back.

I've had mine for a few weeks now - and honestly I can't remember life without it. It's absolutely essential since my iPhone 6 was stolen and I had to start using my old iPhone 5 which has a poor battery.

I got the earlier deal on this, delivered within 2 weeks. No customs charges.
I cannot believe how Xiaomi can sell this for under 8 quid delivered from China. The quality is simply amazing, incredible fit and finish, the CNC-milled aluminium alloy is stylish and absolutely exquisite to the touch. The charge lights look like the lights on the side of a Macbook which you see only when lit up.
If Jony Ive were to design a power bank, this would probably be it (disclaimer - I'm more of an Android fan but I do admire Apple's design philosophy). And it is as safe as any of these devices can be - see the PCWorld review below.
It's over-engineered to the point of decadence.
Get one. Even if you don't need one you'll want to hold it in your hands.
Would you be disappointed with one of these as a secret Santa present?

Just testing this.
I took my Nexus 5 (2300mAh) down to 5% and my Tesco Hudl2 (5700mAh) down to 7%.
After charging the Nexus to 100% the Xiaomi was showing 3 LEDs out of 4.
As of now (bedtime) the Hudl is showing 40% and the Xiaomi still has 2 LEDs.
Assuming that the Hudl gets a full charge, this means that the Xiaomi will have delivered around 8000mAh (I've rounded up as I didn't turn the devices off whilst they were charging). Which is about right for a 10,400mAh battery pack. Yeah, I know, 2+2+5 :-)
If I remember, I'll report back in the morning to say whether the Hudl actually got a full charge or not.

FWIW I had a defective torch from BangGood which cost £5.50 and they refunded very quickly after I emailed them a video. Although in that case the video was simple to make!
i got one from banggood today. the 20 digit code on the box does not register on mi.com's verify website. does it mean its fake?

wheres this 20 digit code?

there is a square sticker on box. rub off Chinese writing to reveal 4 lots of 5 numbers. you enter it into mi.com/verify

yeah mines the same, but tbh i dont think its not legit, the packaging and the power info at the bottom dont seem unlegit, so i think its legit..

25 Nov 15#64
before mine was saying invalid code. now its not saying anything. perhaps an issue with their system. its all very well made, but the usb cord i got has white in the middle. i dunno
zeeshy
25 Nov 15#65
a poster on another thread thinks its not genuine if code doesn't match up
Kozzy118
25 Nov 15#66
when i type the code onto the website, nothing comes up, but i trust banggood to deliver legit goods, as others have gotten. my usb is white, but no logo like the counterfeit has. it charges instantly, which is a sign of legitmate.. maybe the cord/wire is in-legitimate but the actual power bank is? im not too sure, but im happy with it.

I bought one couple of months ago and now it's not charging my galaxy s3 properly. It charges 1% in more than 2-3 minutes. Is this faulty or something wrong with it? It takes more than 10 hours to get fully charged from only one light on. Anyone can suggest something?
