Just had a look at the jar i bought a few wks ago and it doesn't say cold pressed on mine anywhere? Does that mean its rubbish for hair/skin??

It's more than likely refined coconut oil if their isn't a coconut smell to it as refined goes through a bleaching/deodorized process as it's cheaper than the process for cold pressed. Their is a lot of debate about but many preffer cold pressed for things like the skin and hair.

Coconut Oil is comodogenic - meaning it can induce spots/pimples in people. Many people use it on their skin, it depends on the person.

I was stating it wasn't cold pressed for those who are bothered about that, we only buy the cold pressed one more expensive but those in my house who use it say it works better for skin.

I know it isn't organic @Tesco but it is £1.50 for 500 ml instead of organic for £3.99

and it is kosher star k certified however ktc @Tesco is cheaper and kosher klbd certified
