I don't live on a council estate.... Never had but would wear this trainers to the gym or leisure wear. It really depends on the colour with classics in my opinion, this colour and bright colours tend to be pretty cool, however some chavs wear the all black version so I can see the bad rep...... Nothing to do with council estates.

Work as a professional in a hospital on my feet all day, my knees were killing me I was recommended these by a friend and now all is good, the comfiest trainers around. They do have a Chavvy stigma surrounding them but if your wearing them with something decent not a nylon track suit you'll be fine
