It's credit to your account, but the terms and conditions state that you shouldn't put your account in credit so if they put your account in credit I'm sure you can ask for a cheque.

Because I would like it as actual cash in hand instead of credit of course

What would you like to do with the £25 if it was cashback other than spend it anyway? I am quite happy if it goes back on the card.

Now is the £25 so called cashback actual cashback or is it just a £25 credit to your credit card in that case you can't take it £25 out but only spend it. I had this problem with a recent barclay credit card

me and the missus have the NW flex account(£10 subs) which gives us free cash withdrawals worldwide. We also have this Select cc which gives us free worldwide purchases. I'd recommend it.

You only get the cashback from TCP if you are a new customer dont you?
Mark5211 to andreasuk

Cant be right as it states that it is 'Exclusively for our main current account customers', so you must already be a customer to be a main account holder.

The £25 from Nationwide stacks with the cash back from topcashback/quidco.

Stack them. Get the £30 from quidco, then get the £25 from Nationwide. Easy money.

So is this better than the Halifax clarity card?
Searcher2 to eaxlns
7 Nov 15#8
The Clarity card lets you withdraw cash at ATMs and only charges interest on the cash withdrawn which is very small if you pay off your outstanding balance asap. i.e. there are no fixed charges per withdrawal. I would therefore say the Clarity is better if you want to do cash withdrawals.

Yes you are right, the webpage they use to demonstrate foreign rates, defaults to the normal credit card. Maybe worth going with this then.

"Unlimited commission-free purchases abroad with a Nationwide Select Credit Card"
This is false advertising. You need to earn an allowance by spending in pounds first - £5 = £1 worth of commission free spending.
Foreign cash is 2.5% (min £3)

no its not false advertising at all. It is commission free on the select, no spend required in the UK to get this. Your thinking of the normal credit card.
