I have been referred and then referred others and the money and cashback has always come through.
Note with new T&C each referrer can only refer 10 people per year (I have only referred 2 people this year) and each person can only be referred once in any 12 month period. Also the new account has to stay open for 3 months after the switch or the bonus is taken back.

how does this work?
you find nationwide on topcashback's website, then click on it and it transfers you to nationwides's website. do you then replace the link in your browser with your friend's referral link?

Yes, even if she already has a nationwide account, I have done this, DW and I had a joint account and we both referred each other for a single account, all she needs is an account to switch from.

Nope, no need to use the link in the email from your friend, the recommend a friend bonus is done only on the details (name, dob, email) that your friend gives to Nationwide leaving you free to use the tcb/quidco link to get the cashback as well :smiley:

I'd appreciate someone answering this :smiley:... My brother has set up two magazine direct debits and they appear in his online banking area. However payments have not been taken out yet (one comes out Jan 1st etc). For the purposes of taking advantage of this Nationwide deal, would these two direct debits already count as those required to be in place at the time of the switch? Meaning, can he go ahead and switch now?
