read the discussion boards on ebay, especially the usa ones, where they really moan about unfair competition from chinese goods which can be sent across the world cheaper than across the states, due to semi-political agreements to help trade with china, and not make them angry by insisting they compete on equal terms

May as well start learning how to do it correctly now, after all Mr Osbourne wishes us to be more like China, as does Mr Camoron. Already killig the less abled in our society, on the road to stealing our working tax creit and family tax, opening the door to taking child tax back. A lying leader ... just like China, soon the UK will be an extention of China, JOB DONE.

Google them for feedback, i ordered a chromecast type device from them during the summer and it never arrived, they kept pushing back the delivery date, and eventually had to go to paypal dispute to get money back.

Seems like a bargain but it depends on the quality of the blocks really, clone brands can range from excellent to useless. There's plenty of other characters for cheap too like Ironman and Spiderman.

They have some small Star Diamond branded sets for about £1 too and they are the best quality lego clone brand out there.

Similarly it always used to be the case that Play and other similar modelled companies actually setup in Guernsey so they don't have to charge VAT to ship to consumers in the UK, making it impossible for UK businesses to compete as they're already 20% down on profit.

You don't pay any VAT on items under £15. Customs duty kicks in at £135.

The duty/VAT isn't too bad. It's the £8 "handling fee" that is added on which is the killer.

You sound like the sort of person who would complain about the minimum wage being "too low" too. Things made in the UK cost more partly because British workers are MUCH better paid than their Chinese counterparts.

Does the US have a minimum wage? in the UK we always complain about unions etc wanting better health and safety standards and better conditions. It seems we cant have it both ways. I think we should start making goods in Britain again :-P

What do you do for a living? surely if you ere selling something you'd want to make as much as you could and at least make what you thought it was worth bringing in all the costs the product had already cost you to get it to the point of selling it to the customer.

Just got 1 crazy all the way from USA for just 1£

The packet it comes in is 7 x 7 x 7 cm so the model can't be any bigger then that, and then it's in 100 pieces, they must be very small and fiddly to put together. Each piece can only be about 3 cubic mm!!

To be honest this deal is a bit dodgy, very dodgy in fact, this won't be licensed by Disney and therefore if I bought a quantity to resell in this country they could well be seized and destroyed at customs. Got to point out to all that these are the same as nanoblocks(Google it) and as others have said the models are small(blocks are very small)-models are usually 2 1/2 -3 inches tall
My lad loves these and nanoblocks
and they don't take up much space
