Found this while scanning for deals should anyone want a different method.
5,990 Hungarian Forint = £13.59 GBP
Works out at £6.80 for any game sharers.
Just another option as i know the £19.99 physical disc deal listed is also a good one and given the game won't have much replay value by many once completed, the ability to trade in/sell the disc afterwards could give a good resale option.

How do I get this and will I be able to get it from the Xbox account I already have? (Child's Xbox) .. Have no idea about this sort of thing :-/

It can be a bit complicated for anyone that isn't aware of the trick.
Requires you to change the region on the website to Hungarian and then setup a debit/credit card to a hungarian address to "create an account" so to speak. Then your free to buy anything from the Hungary store which 95% is always a great deal cheaper than UK.
Other regions have different and even cheaper prices but i tend to stick to this one

Would appreciate the opinions of the down-voters instead of just Minus & Leave

I think people vote deals like this cold because of the dishonesty in giving a false address, that's why I did. On Hot Hungarian Deals it'd get heat, on Hot Fraudulent Deals it'd get heat, on here..... Cold.

cheaper via columbia (£11.60)

It's cheaper from Columbia and South Africa I believe and also MS have cracked down in credit/debit cards from different countries from where you're buying it from e.g most of the time a uk registered card will not work in a different region. You'd have to buy the points from the stores country to work I think.

Are you aware of the "Revolut" credit card? It's got a high success rate, but if you already know about this one, I'd be interested to know if you include that in your statement. Cheers.

Hungary is the only region that still works direct with a card.
Saves having to buy foreign points & risking it not working once applied to your account.

Does anyone know if this game can be played online...my daughter and nephew play 'normal' minecraft together despite living miles apart, and this might be a nice Xmas present for them.

Hey, no it is not minecraft as you know it. Have a look on YouTube. Its a story driven game. No online it's single player only.

i don't get how you can register your credit card in another country ? surely they do an address check ?

When entering the details, use the name on your card and use the first line of your address.
For the rest of the details, City, State/Province, Postcode and Phone Number, use a Hungarian address/number.
I typically just copied details from a hotel in Budapest, has worked fine for years

Aren't we supposed to be "European"? isn't Hungary in the EU? I can't see what's wrong with this to be honest, if it WAS fraudulent as you suggest, MS could and would surely stop it, after all, they know where you bought it and they also know what console it's being applied to.

It's the same as the USA PSN deals, or origin Mexico deals.
Glad this got a fair amount of heat. Hopefully more people start posting different xbox region deals

Isn't game sharing against the Xbox terms and conditions?
I don't see it say anywhere that you can share your games with a friend, the way in which it needs to be done even suggests that MS don't want you to do this. In the past (with 360s) they used to remotely ban people's consoles and it wasn't something they could undo, in fact if it happened it was essentially "tough luck, you broke our rules".

It's providing a false address that seems particularly dishonest, and that is fraud. Microsoft obviously don't think it's worth the effort and press coverage to do anything about it, it's probably not costing them a great deal, many people are probably buying games they wouldn't otherwise buy.

Game sharing has been around for years, you need to deal with that fact.
I know you think your trying to police the situation but your points and links are irrelevant.
This is a trick that has been exploited for a very long time and Microsoft are aware of it.
As for game sharing, it was announced for the Xbox One on release. They tell you how to share games via gamertags and taking your GT to friends/families houses.
What they didn't expect is how effective and popular its actually been.
