Most likely locked to O2 but the best price I've seen for this phone.

Would it be locked to just O2, or would Giffgaff also work?

Yeah I used a giffgaff sim on another Lumia model locked to O2 and it was fine

The Microsoft Lumia 640 Refurb is £69.99.
Anyone know what O2 refurbs are like?

Don't you mean 550? I don't believe that phone is as good as this one plus the price will probably be higher since it is new out.

Good phone, i've had mine since launch and love it. Only downside of this phone (and some other Lumia's too) is that it doesn't have any dedicated camera buttons and the touchscreen button to take a photo is right next to the Windows home button so its all too easy to miss the moment and send the phone back to the OS haha

That's an awful lot of phone for the money...
If you have a friend or family member on o2, they can unlock for free too, I understand...

I have the camera360 sight app locked to the start screen on mine. Really fast opening time, and much better than the pants Lumia camera app.
Apart from that can't fault my 640. Also get moliplayer pro, bung in a decent micro sd card and your sorted. Plays .mkv files like a dream.
Now all we have to do it sit and wait for the special people on here to tell us how crap the phone is, and how you'd be better with android.

Excellent phone, got fed up of my LG G2 getting more and more laggy. Amazing battery and surprisingly the camera is actually better in most situations than the G2. Cheap 32gb card and I'm more than happy.

Great phone and price. Not sure why they'd have offered a wireless charger with it when it doesn't support wireless charging though.

Yep the phone was brand new and untouched, usually they are open box returns, unwanted gift returns and surplus stock. Well pleased with mine, its a great phone and a nice upgrade from a Lumia 620.
Thanks alot for posting about it, would not have known otherwise !

Hi,
I'm looking towards buying one of these for someone else but they have an Android phone currently and I have some concerns over retaining their Gmail account etc.
I'd want to avoid them having to get a Hotmail account and to retain the ability to use Gmail, Gtalk, Google Calendar etc. Is this at all possible to do on a Windows phone, especially running 8.1 ?
