There's analogue gauges for cars and bike on eBay for a few quid and they're far more accurate and easier to use than digital ones. And they don't need batteries!

There are cheaper ones online such as eBay, or analogue ones.
BUT this is a great price for a digital pressure reader WITH LIGHT AND BACKLIGHT.
I bought a few cheap ones off ebay and they work great... but you can't use them really when it's dark!

What's the betting we all get cancellation phone calls from our local Halfords stores, that is what usually happens with these deals....numerous times I have had cancellations saying its a stock error etc etc and I am sure they keep the deals for themselves.
*EDIT* Surprisingly had a phone call to say my order is ready for collection

Programmable is such a silly feature, you look at it and it tells you the psi / bar and you know if it's wrong! Such a feature would be great if it was a compressor

cicobuff to Bigfootpete
19 Nov 15#30
That's because it is not available for delivery nationwide as in out of stock, and also not available at any store near your postcode. If they have not got any in stock to even deliver to your local store or for that matter have them in stock at your local store then you are going to have to modify your search area further afield or forget about the deal unfortunately.

Collected mine...mine most certainly was old stock, batteries depleted, it all was blister pack sealed so not a customer return or anything, they just do not have a tab system in place and install batteries in the factory.
Fortunately have some CR2032 batteries and is working fine after replacing.
Bargain for £4.50 just be mindful you may need replacement batteries sooner than you realise.

Had one of these for around 3years now and would highly recommend. Used on cars/quads & off road motorbikes also the kids bikes no problem only thing I did notice was with my quad because of low pressure sometimes used anything I think below 2psi it wouldn't read however other than maybe trials bikes can't see this being a problem with most applications.
Batteries last a long time which can be bought off the bay for around £3 for 10.
Good price think I paid around £12

It won't fit mine, nothing to do with the valve, it is the fact the unit is straight on against the valve, the wheel spokes are in the way, bear in mind car valves are front facing compared to bicycle/scooter/motorcycle wheels...the near straight on design of this causes problems depending on your size wheel in this instance.
If it was a better angled design it would not be a problem.

Weird that mine did not have any battery pull out tab it most certainly was blister pack sealed up a unit, wonder if there has been any revision changes, the battery hatch itself is philips screwed in mine but both batteries were nearly fully depleted with the digital letters 'LO' on screen to indicate batteries needed replacing.
Nit picking aside in my instance I am sure my wife will find it fine for the car, just a shame it's bloody useless for my motorbike.

I had the previous Michelin version but the batteries went flat. It takes 5 at £4.99 for two so a replacement for a fiver is a no brainer. Relieved to see the batteries in the new ones are 2034, cheap and easily obtainable.

20 Nov 15#59
Not tested this one yet against anything but the original Halfords one I have I've checked a number of times over the years against other pressure gauges or used garages then checked mine against it, bearing in mind tyres have to be cold to obtain accurate readings and garage ones ie Asda, Sains, Tesco etc should have theirs checked regular something similar to weights & measures. Unless you know of another way to test/check I would be interested?
