Everyone is making McLaren jokes these days, at least they are prepared to take a gamble, they have 2 off the best drivers in the world, yes the engine needs to go some to be up there with everyone else, and F1 fans all hope they get there, at least Honda have heritage,

Everyone give them a break, yes unfortunately they have to do their dirty washing in public, but I am sure they are trying their best behind the scenes to make the engine the best

It's a shame Alonso has been stuck at the back of the grid this season. Hopefully they get their act together for 2016.

I'm no fanboi, but you could argue that with a couple of exceptions, the winning driver has the best car, so double diffuser or not, it's rather irrelevant.

do you watch f1 at all? button has had some of the highest calibre drivers as team mates and beaten them. Barrichello, Hamilton and this season he is ahead of Alonso up to this point. He may not be the fastest driver on a single lap but he is one of the most complete drivers, just watch how he went from last to first purely on his driving in the wet race in Canada.

Exactly, Button is one of the smoothest drivers on the F1 grid, in 2005 when Gil De Ferran was at The BAR Honda team he said Buttons driving skills were amazing, the fella has driven for McLaren for 6 years and was the equal of Hamilton in all these years, so cut the man some slack

Alonso too is still in the top 5 most definitely, in 2005 and 2006 he beat Schumacher fair and square, is still around, and narrowly missed out to Vettel in 2012
