I was looking for a nice hotel in Edinburgh in March and stumbled upon some cheap rooms.

I managed to book a standard double room @ Edinburgh Malmaison for £35 on Sunday 20th March 2016.

This seems really good value for money. I have stayed at various Malmaison hotels before and always found them very nice.

I had a quick search to see how widespread this offer is and also found £35 rooms available on Sundays in March, April, May and June in

Liverpool
Manchester
Leeds
Edinburgh
Newcastle
Belfast

Glasgow was £5 more @ £40

Price is for a standard double or twin room and does not include breakfast.

It does say payment upfront but I booked my room over a week ago and they havent taken the money off my card yet.

Hope this helps someone out.

Just booked a £35 room. Was tempted with a superior room, but just went with the standard double. But when your confirmation goes through you get the chance to upgrade at a reduced price. So on a Malclub room it would be £45 instead of £50. So you could save on the superior room by just initially booking a standard room then upgrading after.

Newcastle and Edinburgh have £35 rooms for 20th March and 3rd April.

Leeds 10th April.

I found it earlier, £35, pay in advance, no additional purchase. Have stayed at several malmaison hotels many times, this is the best deal I've ever seen.
