Does anyone have a pic of the gold musical tin, would love to see what it looks like before making an unnecessary trip? Thanks in advance if anyone can post one xx

For us more mature peeps I personally feel the use of embossed/pretty tins goes back to a bygone era. A great great Aunt handed a beautiful novelty tin down... Think kinda basket of roses shaped and embossed (think it had chocolates in originally) anyhoo my cousin sold it at auction for nearly £250...not bad for a wee tin.
I bought some of the stag tins and am holding out for the gold musical tin.

Looked at these today. Yes only 200g for £5 or you can get the rectangle tin of shortbread from M&S which contains 650g for £4.50
I know what I would rather have!!

These things being half price confuses me. They bring out an Xmas biscuit tin every year & its always half price...half price from what? It's not like they sell it at full price in the other 10 months.

It's just an M&S con. Only an idiot would pay £5 for 200gm of shortbread but somehow making it look as if it's half price changes that. People are easily fooled.

These look to contain just 200gm shortbread (Aldi all-butter shortbread is pretty much identical and costs 49p for 210gm).
£4.51 seems an awful lot of money for a tin which will end up in the rubbish along with all the other Christmas tat!
