We have a soft close bog seat and wouldn't go back to normal ones now. Only downside? I always forget the bog seats at work aren't soft close and nearly break the pot every time :man:

For what it's worth the one from screwfix could not come off any easier

Aldi have a Soft close, easy clean toilet seat with a detachable magnetic child's seat reduced to £13.99, had quite a few in the Leeds branch I visited

Argos ones better as the screfux ones harder to clean as there is a plastic strip a across the back as opposed to two discs/screws like the Argos one (easyclean)

Got my sister this one for 8.99 last week, basic but she likes it
