Best not to engage with these types. He's ignorant, has already made his mind up and just wants an argument.

I've yet to find a Lidl store that stocks them.
Same thing with Iceland, Not found any Quorn products and I have 5 within 2 miles of me.

They're more than £1 in my local Lidl. Every few months they seem to drop them to £1 but just now they aren't. Thanks, I'll stock up today

Oh what a novelty. A meat eater on a veggie deal surely not.

At least nobody posted a "processed meat causes cancer" article yet.

nutritionally are these any good?

Last time I looked they contained a lot of fat, much more than the quorn ones. Veggie food isn't synonymous with healthy food.

11g of protein per sausage, good enough for me!

I don't think MacCartney veggie sausages are that great, they are pretty low rent as a veggie option - but you know that whatever is in them isnt as horrible as the meat ones!

I'm not a vegetarian but I think these are really tasty. I prefer them over normal sausages

I suppose you could get these and get the butcher to mince you some bovine rectal tissue to flavour the pan if you find them less tasty

I'll be honest I love my meat. However, my housemate and gf are both veggie, and these actually taste better than some 'real' sausages, so I eat these and quorn burgers all the time, love em. Heat.

if 6 sausages are 300g but the nutritional information states 2 grilled sausages are 92g, does it mean 8% weight is lost. . through cooking?

Non-hydrogenated vegetable fats are not a problem. The science has shown time and again that the hysteria about fat was nothing but a fad.
The only things you need to worry about are:
over-consumption of sugar,
consuming more calories than you expend
and making sure you consume enough nutrients from a variety of fruits and vegetables.
TL:DR Fat isn't the enemy it's sugar.
