Yesterday morning at 11.00 am GMT we opened the flash sale on vMall. Little did we know that there were so many of you hitting the buy button at the same time. vMall had a hard time keeping up with the purchases and went down, actually you broke the vMall!.
Unfortunately a lot of people could not redeem their code and purchase their desired gadget. Flash sales are always very limited on vMall and we understand that you queued and tried your luck. But you did not get a fair chance because your vCode did not work at that time. We recognise this is our fault and feel very bad about that.
We have now sold out, but managed to find some stock somewhere in the warehouse whilst sweeping the floor. We want to give you the opportunity to purchase this limited stock tomorrow at 11 noon GMT in a private Flash sale.
This is your new vCode PRIVSALE40UK and you can hit the link to purchase here. This is again a Flash Sale so as long as stock lasts you can get it.

got one and returned it, good phone but battery is rubbish or I should say software is the problem, stand-by mode is not up to the tasks, drain 20% to 30% of battery during bedtime, also the quality look good at the first glance but when you look into the details, it's actually OK, the one I received, the camera is off centre slightly, and the top and bottom plastic casing is not in-line with the middle metal casing. I know people will say it's a £209 phone but if I am going to pay a phone over £200, I do expect something above OK, especially the marketing of this phone is focused on built quality, design.....bla bla bla, so they can't blame me if the phone is not up to my expectation.

Boot to recovery mode and a factory reset would probably have cured the excessive battery drain...

It's a brand new phone - shouldn't have to factory reset.

Huawei are trying to do a oneplusone here, would imagine a company this large is able to produce enough units to meet demand. or are they trying to generate demand hmmm .... :man:

You are right I reckon, Huwaei are to some extent doing with Honor what Oppo (also big) are doing with OnePlus. With Lenovo's Zuk sub-brand on the way I bet they too do some limited quantity BS. Never let it be said that the Chinese have a habit of copying!

I have the Honor 7 and my gf has the OnePlus One, based on my usage of both phones and cause it's very good looking I would go with the OnePlus X. Mostly because of Cyanogen but also cause the gpu on the Honor isn't as good as the Adreno 330 when playing games. Even 2D games like spider square have dropped frames on my Honor.

Signed up and ordered - current Status: "Not Processed". Admittedly only ordered 10 minutes ago.

There goes your main reason for suggesting the oneplus x, it doesn't have cyanogen..

very good phone for the money. no NFC and one or two glitches now and then in the software are the only downsides. everything else is great. had the phone for nearly 3 weeks now.

OPO X:
1. very old SoC
2. no nfc
3. no fast charging
4. no fingerprint scanner
5. not the full USB Type C
If you don't mind that & like smaller phones ... go with that.
I'm going to go for the ceramic version or bust.

Point 1 against the OPO X is unfair. It's still a powerful phone, better than many midrange models.
spruceyb to Paradroid888

Extremely unfair as 800/801 are pretty rock solid performers, my LG G2 was amazing and my gfs Z3 Compact is awesome (especially on battery efficiency).

I bought the Honor 7 also the other day and I'm returning it. The Honer 7 is not bad for the price. Finish is good and not slow at all. A few reasons that I am sending it back.
1) Limitation of 16GB internal storage if both sims are in use. With only 9GB left it is not enough. I needed a dual sim phone.
2) The quality of the camera is only ok. I took some indoor shots and the quality I will just give it a pass.
3) Finally Huawei phone don't really have much alternative rom at the moment so if you don't like their rom then you are stuck.
Wife just got Nexus 5X 32GB today and it is looking good. Finish is not metal but looks smooth. It is very good in terms of size as you can grab it and control with one hand easily. It is much thinner and lighter than the Honor 7. So far it doesn't feel slow and everything ran quite smoothly. Haven't testing the camera yet but have been told they have made effort on improving the camera, a well known weakness on previous Nexus devices.
Already telling me there is a system update, with Nexus you are always going to get your update fast. There are also plenty of alternative rom if needed.
If I don't need a dual sim phone I will get the Nexus 5X for sure, the 6P is just too big. I ordered a Oneplus2 64GB yesterday as it fits most of my requirements. OneplusX is the entry level of the Oneplus. It looks nice but basic, I will choose it if you don't mind the missing finger print scanner, 16GB internal memory or only single sim.

I've got the Honor 6 and the battery life is one of the best Ive experienced in recent phones.

I'd agree, and I came from the LG G2, the honor 6 was a temp stand in for the G2 when it was away for a warranty repair, but it was so good I sold the G2 and kept the honor 6. Other half has the honor 6 now as I went for the elephone p7000 which i like a lot.

Huawei have said there'll be the Marshmallow beta 'within weeks' for the H7, so people sending theirs back due to the 5.0 battery drain problems are a bit daft really. Just stick it out for a while longer...
Neither is worth the price.... Bad decision even thinking about these 2

Is it really to much to ask that a product performs as it should straight out of the box. If a very near update fixes the issue then they should have waited before releasing it. Just bad press that way, I've already been put off buying it.

I also had the +1 with SD801. It was good then...
But late 2015, I think SD808 would have been a better choice. This provides a bit of future proofing.
But SD820 phones are out soon.

Never noticed your question till now - I assume you mean how do the honor 6 and p7000 compare?
It's all about size really, both are equally capable, excellent battery life, good cameras, the honor is a better quality device in that the p7000 has a few niggles that could annoy you. Downsides with the p7000 are the camera has a slight red tinge in the centre of some photos, light dependent, there's also an issue with the fingerprint scanner, it works well but drains the battery and can cause heat issues - but I've never used mine since the first week as I found it too much hassle. The other p7000 hassle is a conflict between the Bluetooth and wifi, if you're using Bluetooth and wifi and the wifi drops out, it can take some time for the wifi to reconnect. Plus side of the p7000 is the screen is awesome, and the phone is very quick and smooth - I'm a big fan of having two sims and an SD card, this all works really well.
I picked up the p7000 for $149 presale and I'm now keen to try one of the newer 5.5" phones with the 21 mp camera, the elephone vowney looks good but is only available in gold at the moment as a presale and I'm after a different colour this time so will see how the vowney reviews are - there isn't such a good presale discount this time either.
