Ordered my LG G4 on Thursday night, got it on Saturday morning. Smartfone store seem to be very organised and efficient. Phone was brand new! Only thing I noticed was when I put the battery in, there was a sticker that said 'Not for Sale' inside. No idea why, could anyone elaborate?

Got it up and running. Only issue with it is that I have tiny lady hands and the phone is a bit too wide for my thumb to get all the way over. That's my fault though. Goodbye Nexus 4 you were a bloody brilliant phone, just getting a bit old.

Having owned both the S6edge and the G4 I have to completely disagree with you - the G4 is a superior phone in many ways.

LG G4 will be in the top 10 phone of the year 2015 on all online tech sites averaging 3rd-5th (2 Apple phones will sneak into the top 6) the Nexus 6P won't.

Maybe because the LG G4 performs slower and so the opposite of what you say...you can read the benchmarks yourself, it has less cores, slower GPU, less memory bandwidth. Originally the 810 had overheating problems and so was throttling itself, which is probably why LG opted for the slower 808, Qualcomm have since rectified this with a revised design I believe. Not getting into this again...

If Nexus 6p is at this price then 6p wins. But at the current price difference of almost £130, G4 seems a very legit contender.

​These were being sold on ebay a week or two ago. Ebay had 20% off code for anything on-site. making the LG g4 only 230. So obviously they bought a load from there. Now they recieved the stock, theyre making a nice profit.

Like it's already been said, LG don't yet have the aura of Samsung etc so in a couple of months after release it'll probably drop in price a fair bit.

haha same, even tried replacing with a new battery, but didn't make much of a difference :disappointed: really want a 3000 mHa+ battery now! Was really tempted by the S6 as the screen is so nice, but just can't get past the small battery either.

S6 has the best look of them all. Just that the battery life scared me away after using a Nexus 5 before and the batt sucks like hell :smiley:

No, I'm just going on what reviewers have said in their reviews. The 2 Samsung's S6 devices are undisputed kings (EVERY reviewer has said this) LG G4 out performs the Nexus 6P so is a better phone ...simples.

Most leading online tech site won't have the Nexus 6P in their top 6 phones of the year, I can comfortably say that the 2 Samsung S6's with be number 1 and 2 and the LG G4 there or thereabouts. (These are from people who make a living reviewing phones and have used all the flagship phones for a week or so so they have experience and can compare each phone)

That is because the S6 was the best phone at its time when it was released earlier this year, and still is a fantastic phone. Of course they would compare phones to it. What exactly do you reckon LG did with the phone? Added some fairy dust to the snapdragon? Maybe you are suggesting they have better developers than Google when it comes to the software? Because adding bloat on top of stock android will surely make it faster..../facepalm....Please stop you are embarrassing yourself.

Every flagship phone that has come out this year has been compared to the Samsung S6's devices because they are using that as a benchmark (they know that is the best phone so far in 2015). The Samsung's has the total package (Has the best camera every produce on any phone). The LG G4 is better than the Nexus 6P because the engineers at LG have made the most of it's technology for example the Iphone for years have had inferior spec but their engineers somehow always maximises the technology i.e duel core that better than most quadcore phones. The LG G4 is a better all rounder compared to the nexus 6P because it out performs it.

The G4 is not better in any area than the 6P. The only thing the Galaxy phones are better than the 6P in is synthetic benchmarks, and only marginally, unfortunately this does not translate into real world usage, where the galaxy phones stutter and lag frequently, most likely due to the poor coding of Touchwiz and their other bloatware (wont even mention the security vulnerabilities). The screens are identical as Samsung provide the Nexus's screen. There are plenty of camera comparisons, which show the Nexus has the best camera especially in low light. Lets not forget the superior battery life, faster updates, front facing stereo speakers etc etc. Hey I am just firing this stuff off the top of my head, imagine I actually bothered to start quoting stuff to you...but why don't you actually use the phones then you will see for yourself. I will leave you to your delusional bubble.

General consensus is the 2 best phones on the market right now are the 2 Samsung's S6's (This is FACT and can't be disputed) LG G4 is 3rd. Stuff.tv are very knowledgeable like I'm more knowledgeable than you.

Had an Email reply from smartfonestore stating that all their phones only have a 60 day warranty apart from an Iphone which has a 12mth manufactures warranty.

Looking at the current (reduced) price of this and the Doogee F5 Pro which was under £50 delivered in the UK from Banggood, I cannot help but wonder the kind of cost multiple the mainstream manufacturers like LG, Samsung etc use for their products. Sure the G4 has a higher spec, but is it worth paying 500% extra?!! Of course, don't even get started on Apple pricing.

I believe once the Chinese onslaught begins proper into Western markets, the South Koreans will either need to look very closely at their pricing or go the way of HTC, Blackberry etc. Apple may just about survive, at least in the medium term.
