Great Price, at this rate it will be down to £175 on Black Friday - :smirk:

Why would it be? It's already cheap, has been for weeks now so hardly a candidate for a Black Friday deal.

Oh man, do I take the plunge now or wait till Black Friday / Cyber Monday. Nearly pulled the trigger when it was £227 at argos on Monday (£217 via flubit). Glad I didnt. But will it drop even further!? Ahhh decisions decisions!

slightly cheaper here through tesco, 3rd party supplier I think
Still a lot of phone for the money... same memory as an iPhone 6S, but would really need comparing against the 6S+ (5.5" screen 1920 × 1080 pixel resolution (401 ppi)) which is £619 !! (and came out September 25th this year). LG G3 came out May 28th 2014 with 5.5" 2560x1440 (534 ppi). You could buy 3 of these and still have change....
Is this better value than the G4? I have a G2 and the battery is beginning to fail. I thought the removable battery and microSD would suit my needs. I just remember the G3 had a weak GPU for such a high res screen

The screen does zap performance and battery but if you're willing to root the phone then the issue is fixable.

The G4 also has a weak gpu. When will lg learn....

Are you sure it's your battery? Often short battery life is actually caused by things running in the background unnecessarily. A factory reset can make a huge difference!

The battery on the G2 is dire after about 12 months. I've had mine replaced for other reasons and I immediately notice how much better the battery life is. Same applications installed.

Got one a week ago on the Amazon deal. Amazing phone which exceeded my expectations. Battery will go a day but isn't a strong point. Quad HD is pointless but the camera is excellent

The G3 is incredibly leggy. ..I don't recommend it
I owned one for a numerous months and at any time that you really need to do something on it, it will just start freezing and lagging.

I would get this for £172 do i go for it?
Seems a lot of phone for the money.

That seems a much better bet. I wouldn't spend £200 on a 16GB/2GB phone now, not future proof enough, will lead to inevitable regret!

I saw an article the other day saying the LG G3 was going to get the Marsmallow update soon, so I wouldn't write it off as as not future proof enough. For under £200 (free next day delivery), with those specs, UK phone with warranty from high street (ish) retailer, its a better deal than buying grey for pennies less, or in some instances more. Not sure anything comes close to it at the moment?
I also recently bought the g3 I think it's a incredible phone for the money. Crystal clear screen, good size and the battery life gives me 2 days.

I have the G3 and an iPhone 6 and the G3 is fantastic and definitely better value at this price but you fail to highlight any of the things that people actually buy iPhone's for? The build quality, more secure and reliable OS, more functional and better optimised apps? I like both and if I could only have one I'd probably have an android but looking at numbers on paper is a pointless comparison.

just received an email stating that they are out of stock and they are not sure when it will be back in stock, so i called them up with my order number and they say they are unlikely to be getting them in again as its end of line, i am awaiting a manager to call me back as i actually have an order number. very strange.

Edit: Never mind, that deal has expired anyway...
I have the 3gb/32gb one. Amazon.fr seem to be the cheapest I can find out of the amazon.it/es/de/fr stores...

That works out at approx £205.12 before delivery costs (xe.com conversion)
