Samsung is a much better panel. Annoying that people don't understand that just because it's OLED doesn't make it great. Check the yellow hue on the whites and the close colour range. Also check out the brightness of the panel, measured in nits. LG is good for blacks, but unreliable and poor at the upper end colour spectrum. But then these morons will just say OLED or nothing...

Just can't get excited about curved tv's. I always have my tv wall mounted and think it would just stick out if you were viewing it from certain angles. Just a fad in my opinion.

Some good looking Sony/LG/Panasonic/Samsung TVs up for discount in Costco lately but I can't find a review of them anywhere.

5 year warranty at that retailer as well mate so it makes your deal very cold
Its a far better telly than the one you've linked - for some it will be worth paying the extra for. That digihome is the Tesco Value Beans on Asda Smartprice toast of 50" TVs. With a decent source, the picture on a great TV can look massively better than that on a cheap one.

Surely if you are going to spend two grand on a TV you're better off waiting for oled ,as it's a totally far superior picture, £3600 is the cheapest for the lg65ec970v at the moment and the price just keeps falling
Gutted, bought the 55" version on Tuesday, could've saved myself £130 :disappointed:

Sorry for going off topic but I was wondering if someone can point me in the right direction. I'm looking for a 3d tv, max budget 1500 the main criteria though is that it MUST be white.
Many thanks

I think that at 60-65" 4K actually makes sense. 55" would be a bare minimum.

Of course not at this price - you'll probably be waiting about 3 years for a 65 inch 4K OLED TV at this price.
