Saw this in store last weekend and I nearly did a bit of wee. It's not just 'a' TV, it is 'THE' TV. If it were a God it would be Zeus. Seriously went and brought some candles from the JL homeware department and built a little shrine round it.

May well be a "hot deal" compared to the normal price but who on earth can afford to spend £3000 on a TV?!!!

A lot of people.
Everything is relative, you may live in a £150,000 house but some may live in a £100,000 house.
Some people smoke 20 a day, costing themselves almost £3000 a year.
Some people drink a lot of alcohol.
People spend their money on a massive range of items or services in the world.
Many footballers could have this TV in their bedroom

Haha. It is a fantastic TV. Shame it's out of my price range buts its dropped a couple of thousand in the last few months. Hopefully will continue to drop.

Nice, but the flat panels take ye fancy a bit more. If the 65EF950V was this price i'd be snapping someones arm off.

Same price at richersounds, but would go with JL for warranty and returns policy.Still needs to come down another £500 before being worth over the flat panel version

This may be a good price for the 970 but it is from last year's EC range which have been replaced by the newer EG/EF range which has better features such as HDMI 2.0a for HDR. I personally would rather spend the extra £600 to get the EF950V.

Where can you find the EF950V for £600 more?

Currys are doing 15% cash back on all 4K tv on quidco

Unfortunately the terms and conditions on Quidco states that you cannot get cashback on items where another discount voucher has been applied. So I am not sure if you can get the 15% Quidco and the 10% off all TVs over £1,000 at the same time.

The panasonic OLED TV is better but it's also 7,999 pounds. That is THE TV.

Great to see the prices coming down on OLED. Super price if you're in the market for it.

Just waiting for a 55" (none curve) LG OLED to drop in price.
LEDs will be worth peanuts in a matter of months, OLED is the way to go

Once you apply the 10% discount code.
15% Quidco cashback is another option.
