I am only wondering about Dual Core Intel® Core™ i7-5500U... Would it not be better to get something with faster Quad Core i5 in similar price? Plus it's integrated GPU? You sure this is really THAT hot? Still voted for Yes because it's not bad..

Not if you want it to run cool and have a good battery life.
I had a MacBook Pro with a Quad Core i7, it was a complete beast but it ran VERY hot under heavy load.

Of course not. They do not have a dedicated GPU. They are built for portability and efficiency. A bit of a gimmick as a personal computer if you ask me... Great for businesses / business owners though.
While £500 may seem a great price the machine is quite seriously underpowered and suffers a range of 'glitches' discussed extensively on the Lenovo forums.
I would do your research carefully and understand what you're getting before committing to this deal.

First off, that review is for a different machine - it's for the very underpowered Core M Yoga 3 Pro (Not the i7 powered Yoga 3 here), with Windows 8 and I assume the Lenovo bloatware still installed. If you'd done your research you'd have known that though :wink:
You're always going to find issues online. You've just linked to the discussion board for a product - of course there's going to be negatives, most of which aren't about the Yoga 3.
I bought this machine last week and it's fantastic. With Windows 10, battery life is in the range of 7-9 hours depending on what you're doing. You're going to struggle to find another convertible laptop with the same specs and the same quality display for £500 after cash back.
Most stores have had this taken off the display - and will have 1 or 2 new units in stock. When we went to thurrock, the web said they had none, but they had 3.
By the OS sticker on it, by the CPU, etc. They just use common sense. If you send in a machine with a Windows XP sticker or a Pentium 4, they're going to know it's older than you say.
I just sent in the laptop it was replacing - a 2 and a bit year old HP laptop, which I paid £260 for, and which is currently going for about £130 on eBay. There isn't much difference in the cash back and the eBay values after fees, but it's just easier not having the hassle of eBay.

I just went and had a look at one and they also had the yoga 500 with 920m graphics i5 6200 cpu and a terabyte hybrid drive for the same price i didnt buy either in the end as i coudnt decide.

16.5fps on low at 720p for Fallout, Possibly could be marginally higher if that's based off of a lower spec setup.
It can handle a low level of gaming with everything at minimum but some games will still have unacceptable frame rates.
