I just randomly searched Smyths for three sets from the list. Firstly the Star Wars AT-DP is not available and listed at £49.99, secondly the Speed Champions Ferrari truck is £74.99 at Smyths and the Scooby Doo Mystery Mansion is £69.99 on their site. So congratulations for just wasting 5 minutes of my time to prove you are talking utter nonsense!

You don't expire a whole thread on the fact one item has increased slightly, how about suggestions OP edits to reflect this instead, OP has gone to a lot of effort to put all the same type of deals in one thread which is much better as it means you can see them in one post not having to read 20+. Nah Lego store will be your best bet for large exclusive sets, if you wait till Brick Friday (27th) you get a free Gingerbread House as well. There will also most likely be additional discounts, but the final details haven't yet been released.

Folks just check the Brickset website daily for their Amazon (and other stores) discount list. Thats all the OP has done, but they have just been thick skinned enough to post it here. No need for these pointless threads, go direct to the source website. Of course the Amazon prices fluctuate, so best to keep looking back on the set your interested in as they often go back to their discount price for short periods.

Yes, your just a hero, well done. I got two junk mails with this deal apparently hot and trending well with activity, as I have lego auto emails setup via HUKD. Thanks for your all round wonderfulness, we will all start following you and Brickset will get no traffic. Then Brickset will dissapear. This is an absolute disgrace of a deal post is the bottom line.

Brickset also receive commission on their Amazon referrals, which helps them keep their services, inventories, forums etc etc FREE. You are single handily going to kill that with this sort of nonsense posting.

Smyths or not, most of those sets can be easily found cheaper somewhere else. There's dozen brand new 75094 Star Wars Imperial Shuttle on ebay for less than Amazon's deal.

A quick Google search showed not one retailer offering a competitive price to Amazon for the Imperial Shuttle. eBay has two sellers offering up a saving of little more than a pound of the Amazon price. I would imagine there are many that don't consider eBay for a reliable go to option. Amazon customer service is impeccable. They resolve any issues with minimal fuss and with Prime you can get next day delivery. Maybe you could point retailers that are actually offering cheaper prices rather than posting generalised fluff that carry no validity.

If you can get it in stock in local argos worth going there as they now offer a price match. Just did the same price as shown on amazon combined with 3 for 2 so I got the lego city space port city demolition site and city deep sea vessel for £99.36

Its being taken off if you read the argos thread. They dont price match and do 2for3. I had to get the manager out too took me 20 mins to get it price matched and i was told it would be a one off.

I saw the Ninjago Mech Titan Battle and Master Wu sets in Sainsburys (Didcot) the other day, reduced to clear. Priced up at £26.66 and £23.32 respectively. Was in-store and limited stock so didn't post, but I thought a cracking deal given normal RRPs (£39.99 and £34.99). Sainsburys also had the Marvel Avengers Hulkbuster Smash sets for £22.49 (vs RRP of £29.99). Worth a look if you are passing.

I don't see what's so shameful about posting great prices on Hot UK deals. So what if they've been extracted from another website, it's not called HotUniqueDeals. I wouldn't normally have considered using Brickset but the deals were better than usual in light of Amazon matching Argos's 3 for 2 promotion. People were already posting numerous individual deals, how many of them would you have had to filter through in your inbox? You're like a dog with a bone, honestly get over it and move on.

The original post was just a lazy cut n paste steal from a well known independent Lego set information website that has its own daily Amazon discount feed. Basically this deal post was just a bit of nonsense by someone desperate for some HEAT. Just go direct to the source and get the up to date info. I would name it... but HUKD don't like that and censor things (conflict of interest much I know). But its not hard to find.
