It doesn't include any of the good stuff... Computer games + accessories like Amiibos, Disney Infinity, Lego Dimension etc are not included. Any decent lego sets will not be included by default of being out of stock, except for 1 random Argos store somewhere in the UK that might just have 1 item.

Think is with most of these toys they are deliberately all overpriced. Say you want to buy 3x LEGO Millennium Falcons, £129 each, so £387 in total. You can get them individually for near on £90 each if you shop around

well all mine in stock reserved them all today costing me a fortune.. only thing is i put 2 lots in wrong wat round so could have saved more do you think they will change it for me in store as 1 item coming up out off stock now so can't re- order them

so your own figures show the prices are inflated to run the 3 for 2! It would be 180 if true offer - so sixty each if given figures are correct. Very rare that any shop offers real 3 for 2 offers.

No - what happens is at midnight all the "ebay" people get online and reserve all the lego / in demand toys asap. They then don't pick it up deciding its not worth it and stock re-appears tomorrow.

I managed to get an order in for my little man (McQueen Car Set, Thomas Take N Play set and a Fisher Price set for my baby girl), but all of the Paw Patrol and Lego bits were gone by the time the site went back up.

I reserved 3 Lego Dimensions for PS4 yesterday @ £82.99 each. So with 3 for 2 it would have cost £55.32 each

Today on their website it shows as £99.99 each. So with 3 for 2 it will cost £66.66 each, which is now about the same as you can it elsewhere.

Appreciate that this isn't quite on topic, but for those with younger children/toddlers who don't 'have to have' particular toys, check out your local NCT nearly new sales. They always have so much stuff, often pristine condition in boxes, for a fraction of shop prices. When you see how much plastic has been bought and hardly used it is shocking. Your pocket will love you for it.

There are items, such as Star Wars characters, where it lists several options (e.g. different characters) within the one catalog listing but you can't specify which character you want. Is it just pot luck when you turn up and you then accept or decline the ones they offer you?

Tried this instore today but one of the items I wanted was only available for home delivery which the till couldn't cope with. When I got home I price checked Amazon which was cheaper even with Argos 342.

Got what I needed, sadly they weren't having any of the price match attempt but that was expected.

This might be good for other toys, but now having tried to buy Playmobil in two of these 3-2 offers, most sets are 'out of stock' from the start. What's also annoying is you have to add them to your trolley and to through the stages of buying before it finally tells you they are not available. Once I was ready to believe I was just too late - it had all sold out: twice and it looks like anything really good is made unavaible, and the promise of 'on all toys' just a lie.

I got a right bargain today 3 toys meant to be £90 paid £55 thanks to a £5 voucher for spending over £50 in there a few weeks ago a couple are main presents so saved myself some money took me a 30 minute wait in the queue

Amazon has 'almost' the same prices for me with the 3 for 2 included as I was surprised to find some of the Leapfrog brand toys so cheap on Amazon today so actually ordered a few! ... The Price Match is a bit of a con though! The identical product must be in stock in a competitors store in the same town where you purchased it from Argos! Not price match if the product is out of stock and available to order from a competitor. Plus there are several exemptions!

Great deal, they also price matched Amazon so I got an even better deal. They said they don't price match Amazon but I had spoke with someone from Facebook and they confirmed they do so showed them the screen shot but they said it was fine and put it through.

Dont know if anyones still reading this far in, but the people saying its not a great are right, if they would done 3 for 2 last week when they had toy price reductions, this would have been like 3000 degrees but alas nearly all the prices went back up :disappointed:
Anyways although not as great has it could have been, still a small saving on prezzies, so i ordered 3 items for home delivery and asked for the slot between 2 and 6pm and stayed in all afternoon waiting and nothing arrived, then got an email saying call 1 of 3 numbers to re book a slot, so called and the the person who answered told me wrong department , got put on hold and transferred, after waiting someone finally answered and then they told me wrong department, no way was i waiting again.

Some people saying they'll price match Amazon and honour 3 4 2 other say not. If they do LEGO Star Wars 75104: Kylo Ren's Command Shuttle (x3) would be £121 (£60.50 each on Amazon), so just over £40 each. If they do price match I'll be buying a lot more.

Yes. I bought two sewer lairs which were £119 in tesco. They price matched Amazon at £63.99 so I bought two and got a £60 Lego set free. I emailed them on Facebook Wednesday to ask, they got back to me yesterday to confirm they do. I screen shot it just in case but they didn't check :smiley:

Yes I couldn't believe my luck, even with the Facebook message I wasn't really expecting them to price match. The manager said it was fine, my first reservation they didn't check but the Sewer Lairs she did because the price difference was so great. I got a really good deal. Have had a nightmare trying to get anything delivered, ordered fine, was supposed to be delivered 2-6pm yesterday - no show. Waited 30 mins trying to get hold of them on the phone, gave up. I asked a cashier why your so busy and he said everyone is going crazy with the 3 for 2 ! 700 customers in few hours . and the Argos website was down last night I'm guessing because of the demand of the 3 for 2 offers

Their website have 'crowd control', so you can't really shop. Even after you wait few minutes and let through the site, you can't check stock in stores or check out.

It is. And the BB-8 is £70 on Amazon. So I'd have paid the same price for those 2 but wouldn't have got the Supermarket (which is £50 on Amazon) free.
