Exactly. My kids have a lot of Lego and still want more .... But they can have some of this now I know it's quite decent.
I know before some of the stuff were really bad knock offs - but please! Try before they open their gobs! Lol

I know hun a lot of snobs out there that have never touched it down voting. They go around Amazon giving bad reviews too.
It's more than good enough for the money, some of it looks rubbish but some of it is nicely designed and a bargain!

Am I the only one that miss Lego (and Lego compatible) being the way it used to be "here's a box of blocks that join together make whatever you like. The only limit is your imagination and how many blocks you have." Now they show you on the box what the set makes and if anyone else's kids are like mine it get built once, broken and thrown in with the million other bits they have from all different sets.

The sets have come with instructions since the 1950's when lego started unless you specifically buy an unthemed assortment set which you can still buy now.

Disappointed - thought it was a pirate dinosaur set! "Yo ho ho! Yo ho ho! Pirate dinosaurs go, go, go!"

Almost worth buying just for the driver's Movember moustache.

I'm getting exhausted from defending this stuff but it's really very decent for the money, they were using a different supplier a few years ago and it was crap but the recent stuff has been very good for the money. Is it lego quality? Not quite but it's not terrible, the difference in price is much greater than the difference in quality.
The quality of the set design varies (airport and t-rex are pants, the smaller dinosaur in the t-rex set is especially laughable) but some of it is very good, I suspect they may source from more than one supplier because the tank and pirate ship are very good for the money and some of the little £1 animal sets are well designed too.
The space rocket with launch tower is pretty amazing in my opinion both in terms of design and what you get for the money, definitely the most impressive set they have at the moment, even has some technic parts used for the mechanical aspects. The closest lego set was 3368 but it was smaller and had over 200 less parts, that set cost £50 5 years ago, the Wilko rocket costs £12. It's really amazing how many bags of parts are in the box when price is taken into consideration.
I didn't buy the rocket just because it was a cheap, I bought it because it was a cool set that you simply can't get from Lego. There are some really nicely designed sets out there from the various third party brick makers, some of the tanks and military vehicles with unique and NOT ripped off designs are fantastic and worth consideration in their own right and not just as a poor man's lego. It's worth doing some research and consulting online reviews etc.
