Very much a favourite of mine, but not to everybody's liking due to the pungent medicinal aroma.
Lately I've only seen this for £30 and upwards, so this is, in my opinion, a great price. It's currently £30 at Tesco for example.
It's instore and online at this price, but I've just grabbed what appears to be the last bottle off the shelf at the Bishop Auckland branch.

Yet you've never shared such deals.
Please advise where we can get Macallan 10yr old for £16 to £20.
I used to pay £19 for Macallan 10yr Fine Oak some years ago. It's more like £50+ now.

Mainly Macallan / glenlivet / bowmore - this is not a deal price... Pick up 10's for 16/20, 12's 22/26, 15 for 28 to 36 and I buy in quantity when on deal

Ardmore is £20 @ Asda, not anywhere near the peat of Laphroig but a nice drop. Good suggestion about trying these at the pub first, I've done that many times. You may want to try the quarter cask and add a drop or two of water to suit your taste.

Yes, it used to be my staple, but seems to have been replaced by the founders and masters reserves. Lucky find by a friend who called me.

Tell you what - how about you buy it and try it and if you don't like it, then I'll buy it from you for £15?
Minimal risk for you right there! :stuck_out_tongue:

Try a pub to sample a dram- I think Whetherspoons still stock it.

one of my favourite whiskys. I always keep an eye out for Laphroiag and anything below £30 for the 10yo is a good deal. Hot!

Yeah, just like TCP.
It's quite a shock to the taste buds.

Tried a few single malts over the past 6 months and wondered what that was almost like antiseptic smell.

Good deal for people who like this. I like a peaty whisky, but personally find this to have a medicinal iodine taste, which i'm not a fan of.

The Glenlivet 12 is a great buy for £20.
I was told by someone in the trade, that particular expression would soon become difficult to buy. All to do with distilleries not being able to keep up with demand from emerging markets , such as India, apparently.
Tesco have already cleared what they had left, so I helped them find homes.
