That's good to know for people considering them as Christmas presents, I knew there must be a catch

I spoke to a Nespresso employee at John Lewis yesterday about the same deal and they said that as long as you bought an aeroccino at the same time then you were eligible for the £25 offer. Hope that helps.

I have both and the tassimo is quite frankly horrible by comparison. Taste is just fake.

What's the difference between Krups Inissisa and the Magimix Inissisa (apart from make!)?
FooFan to fleetingmind
9 Nov 15#7
There really isn't any difference apart from the name and a slight cosmetic design tweak.
Inside it's the same technology and that all important 19-Bars of pressure  So it's a personal choice!

You get a 3 year warranty with the Magimix.

I have the Magimix version of this (apparently meant to be better internally), and I love it. Hassle free delicious coffee! The best bit is that you can get 10 compatible capsules from Lidl for just £1.79 and they taste just as good if not better as the Nespresso ones.

That's personal preference, I think the Lidl ones are disgusting.
Sainsburys currently have the Dualit compatibles for £2 - they're not bad.

Id be surprised if it was. Apart from cosmetics they are and are made in the same countries (by model) - probably same factory.
I'm afraid I cant agree about Lidl pods though, but they're worth trying. Waitrose have some on offer at the moment for £1.99 and they are sealed like originals, ie not in pouches, so can fit in stands. Not bad bad so far I prefer originals esp the Choclatino one.

Great machines, just buy one...i agree the Lidl capsules are excellent in terms of value and taste.

The only pods worth drinking are the original nespresso ones. All compatibles are rank.

NodhhghjDepends - I'm a recent Nespresso convert and think its the best on the market. If you like your Tassismo, then why change? Apart from the tempting £75 off which effectively make s the machine almost free.

A bit like buying a Ferrari but putting **** tyres on it.... What's the point of having a great coffee machine but using cheap coffee, genuinely the Nescafé grand cru coffee is brilliant.

Chatted online, and they mentioned it was ok to use in-store, as long as used by the end of the day as the code expires today. See the chat box in the lower right-hand corner.

I've had a nespresso machine since they first came out and I've had a tassimo too which is nowhere near as good. The nespresso pods are easily the best around. The lidl/M&S ones are nasty in comparison. Plus when you go to the nespresso store you get a free brew!

I have tried several espresso machines before the nespresso, I believe there is simply no competitor, not even close. Hot!
Though not available for delivery, I managed to get one at my local branch, and the 10% discount was applied at the till, when I asked.
Regarding the Lidl pods, they are OK, if not special - AND they work in the Nespresso U, unlike many other 'compatibles'.
HOWEVER, locally, I can only get the original three varieties.
The Orange, Green and Purple ones are described on the English cartons, and were pretty good when I tried them last Christmas in Europe. Shame they aren't available here.
Has anyone seen Merano, Palermo and Viola in the UK?

The club reward seems to read like you can only use it on a machine, and not the pods?

No.
Buy a machine, get the creditS, and spend them on your next 3 orders ... on pods, or 'accessories', or whatever from their site. The credit just goes on your account.
You are unlikely to see HUKD posts featuring the cups and other 'lifestyle' accessories though!
The terms are on the download form I linked above.
Just note that unused credits expire next September, and that if you buy two machines during the offer, you only get one extra credit (not three) for the second machine.
ADDED/// AND the Curry's 10% code expires tonight

So I've just got this today. Been making my own espresso for a decade, and I'm very fussy about coffee. Previous experience with pod coffee has been unsurprisingly poor.
However, the espresso varieties I sampled tonight using this for the first time were just magnificent. I can't overstate how good the quality of this is compared to my regular bean to cup espresso at home. I'm astonished that a pod machine can produce such stunning results.
Delighted with the purchase. Thanks to OP for sharing.
