Hi all, not posted a deal in ages but thought this was a decent one. I received it through an email this morning.

Quite simply really, from today until 29th November, if you buy any Dozen Krispy Kreme doughnuts you will receive 12 original glazed worth £8.95.

You can order using their click and collect system. Which typing that now seems a bit ludicrous!

Time to start putting on that winter weight! :)

Ends two days after Black Friday & a day before Cyber Monday

Hi, as far as I can see on the link, there are dedicated links to buying a dozen assorted or a dozen original and getting the dozen free. Simples!

Of course, if you go instore I guess you can make up your dozen then get the orginal dozen.

It takes my housemates and I a while to churn through a dozen....I can't bring myself to bring home 24!!!

Office "deal" - its akin to wearing a designer suit to show how much money you earn. Buying Krispy Kremes says "I have so much money to burn I can afford to splash out on these diet wreckers - be jealous!" That said, buying them and coming in with one box of decent ones and one box of the standard ones that no-one wants says "I'm trying to pretend I have money to burn, but in reality I don't so I grabbed the donuts whilst the deal is on - please feel sorry for me!"

totally agree.. they have tried to capture the luxury end of the market - good on them if people buy into it. i have actually previously bought a box of 12 filled ones and i only rated the strawberry one. some of the other are quite sickly! flyingalan
16 Nov 15 4 #45
It was not intended to be insulting, and was certainly not abusive. With 2 family members with diabetes I am very aware of diabetes. My point is that we are told there is a link between obesity and diabetes by the medical establishment and excessive large amounts of sugary products does nothing to help this.

They've been giving out free dozens for a couple of weeks in Glasgow. There has been at least 4 giveaways that I've heard of, I've been to 2 (just because I was passing, I didn't seek them out) and I struggled to give away the 2nd dozen. People are either sick of them already or just don't like them. The Braehead one is opening on 2nd Dec and I have promised my nephews a visit but we won't be overdoing it like some people did when the Edinburgh shop opened.
R1992
16 Nov 15 #48
Guys maybe read the ingredients to these on their website. Didn't realise they used so much sh*t in them! Like extreme e-numbers and a lot of artificial rubbish. I mean, fair enough one or the other but tbh I think it's too much for me  I tried them once before and they were horrible except 2 the plain and I've forgot the other lol. But agree with all way TOO OVER PRICED. But acceptable for this price..I guess.

I hadn't bought any for years then got the 12 pack halloween special as a treat. Waste of money as 1 was totally missing the filling and another had half a teaspoon right near the edge. Such a shame as they used to be so lovely. The boston creme was my fave. Will never buy again. We much prefer the 12 pack of Asda and sainsbury choc iced donut rings for £2. Absolute bargain and taste better. Keep them in an air tight container and they are good for 2-3 days.

Blimey, thanks for the heat, I've not had time to read 6 pages but I think I could summise by saying:

a) this deal appeals to those who like KK doughnuts.
b) looks like it is click and collect, I suppose so they have enough stock? dunno...I thought you might be able to go instore but someone got rejected. I guess you could click instore...then tell them what you want in the assorted dozen!!!?
c) someone must be buying them overpriced or not as they are doing rather well. Yes, the profit % must be great but how many do you sell per week to cover overheads?
d) under no circumstances do KKs or doughnuts of any kind form part of a healthy diet!!!!

Dont understand people like this!
Their product in the eyes of many is far superior to that of other competitors. Whether it is or not cannot be said since it is a personal taste. Therefore it commands a higher price.

I do think they are quite expensive, but then again, I also think most of the phones that the people are using to write comments are too!!!!

Having spent a long time in the states, I can tell you that the food over here is of a much higher quality and to see American junk being brought over to the UK and the obesity/diabetes problems coming with it, is pretty sad to be honest... I am simply trying to stop this awesome country going the same way as America, though you don't have to listen!
Everything in moderation is fine, so if you share these out amongst a big group, then fine...However, with the amount of sugar and fat combined in these, it is extremely hard to stop eating after just one...the crispy cream team know this and science has proved it's more addictive than cocaine in these amounts! So whilst you may have the willpower, most don't, hence I think people should know the detrimental effect products like these can have on society! They would be illegal like cocaine if there were any logic in this world!

I agree. I tried these krispy kreme doughnuts for the first time this year, expecting something absolutely spectacular by the way some people rave on about them.

Sorely disappointed. Greggs doughnuts blow these out the water. I think because they're American, people automatically love them. Just like that disgusting Hershey's 'chocolate'

Heat for the deal though. Not to everyone's taste but definitely good for those who love them.

Yes, but very occasionally. Honestly, I'm not trying to do any scaremongering here. It's obvious that more people are obese than ever before and we're actively encouraged to buy more fast or comfort food and consume more. Look at the rise of takeaway consumption too. Obesity really does lead to a much higher risk of diabetes, heart disease, furring up of your arteries (occlusive disease) etc and costs the UK NHS £5bn PER YEAR(!) Read a BBC Health article from May 2015 for more: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-32797769. I went to a health conference the other day and organisations such as Diabetes UK, Stroke Association, Cancer Research UK and the National Institute of Health Research (part of the NHS) all agreed that today's excessive intake of sugar, fat and salt is slowly killing us(!). Buyer beware, that's all! I would happily eat a dozen KK donuts if I didn't have to share them but that would send my cholesterol through the roof and put me on statins which can have bad side-effects as I've found. Don't get me wrong as it's a good donut deal for what are exorbitantly overpriced treats(!)

So I take it you definitely wouldn't like my idea for cocaine filled doughnuts?

Seems strange that you would post a deal then for chocolate ice creams seen here?

Tad ironic, no?

Now hold on a minute- I don't think you should let my comments hold up your research macca... Though I must insist that I trial these products before they hit the shelves (for safety reasons obviously)...

You can get a free donut for signing up to their newsletter as well.

Greggs are the best, but you can get 5 at sainsbury's for the same price.. Don't know why people are bringing up Tesco's, they're average at best, sainsbury's are the only supermarket with decent Jam Donuts, although I haven't tried Morrisons.

That said, KK's are nice and fluffy and I got my only ever sugar rush after scoffing 4 of these in the car. It might take me too long to go through 24 of these though

Yeah, I take your point but my Magnum ice-cream deal was for half-price off a single ice-cream as opposed to the BOGOF dozen donuts that the OP was sharing. You wouldn't have been able to overindulge in my ice-cream deal unless you were able to download the app onto more than one phone.

I see, your half price offer was totally different than a BOGOF offer.

Ok then.
