I last saw these as Koka Cup Noodles in a Poundstretcher about 12 years ago, they were awesome then. Hopefully these hold up.

I don't think it's even debatable. Technically salt is more toxic and unless you don't eat cheese, tomatoes etc then it's hard to avoid entirely. :laughing:

Used to be my go-to noodles but now I'm a Shin Raymun convert. Awesome for 10p though.

Good to see the news is getting out there debunking the msg horror. It can combined with salt into a mixture that adds as much flavour for a smaller amount of total sodium, which would be healthier than using salt alone.

When I first read it I was like "Kodak making noodles now? Oh wait...."

Koka noodles are the best but these are ridiculously spicy!

You can make a decent meal out of these if you make it into noodle soup and add meat, prawn, cabbage, nappa, or bok choi, bean sprouts boiled eggs etc... quick, healthy, cheap and tasty.

Been buying these and the curry ones for months at 25p as they are so much nicer than others so super hot at 10p!

these things are incredibly unhealthy, you couldn't even pay me to eat them. I wouldn't advise anybody to eat them.

Great when mixed with Fresh coriander and beansprouts, along with other various thai/chinese condiments

They are seriously good and extremely spicy :confused:

Add veg (frozen stir fry or even just peas) and meat and they get healthier as well as not so overpowering.

You can actually make these in the same way as a pot noodle. Add to a bowl, pour boiling hot water to cover noodles, leave to stand until "cooked" / water absorbed and then stir in flavour satchet. Breaking up the noodles first will be easier.

a bargain yes, if you like paying to damage your health. I wouldn't touch stuff like this with a 10ft barge pole, but i guess some people don't care about their health.

mmm love me some no nutrition, high salt, high trans fat, high everything nasty food mmmmmmmmm not to mention the lead levels, yum yum tasty lead. Instant noodles are some of the unhealthiest and nastiest foods you can ingest. Actually paying to put that crap in your stomach is laughable.

I agree it won't have much in way of nutritional value.But they do come in handy when you're too lazy to cook after returning home late from pub,there's not much in the fridge,flood/snow meaning no delivery to supermarkets etc....
I always have a few packets just in case.:smiley:
