Codes are working on this set, ZVC5 for 5%. £11.69 if you follow the simple instructions in post #10 (thank you wiggywig). I've seen this posted before at the lowest price of around £16.99. This is handy if you're wanting to collect the (3 volume) collector's editions of this show. Never seen it myself.
Contains episodes 1-9 across 2 Blu-rays in deluxe packaging with bonus content. Incidentally reading other threads this set has a known misprint on the disc labels regarding the episode numbers.

I was lucky enough pick up the nice limited edition box set to hold them all in. You got it when you preorded part 3. Only 1000 ever made though, which i think have now sold out.
*Then click the shop now at the bottom of the page
* Track down Kill la Kill and add it to basket, works same if you already have it in your basket
*Then add code MEGAMON10
This code only works on certain items , this being one of em. So adding other items may cause the code not to work
Don't know how long it'll last so make use whilst you can

Never heard of it before but took a chance, this edition looks cool.
Never really been into anime (apart from Pokemon back in the day, studio Ghibli films and DBZ i.e. western-friendly stuff), but recently watched Attack on Titan and holy fark it was so good! Literally watched all 25 episodes in like 2 days. So going to dip my toes a little deeper!

I ordered part 3 from Zavvi and got the black box, I think all the collectors editions of part 3 come with the black case to compensate for being just one disc because the price is really steep for just one blu ray disc

Ah ok they must of just give the star pins away in the set when they had the advance releases of it at the conventions. Thars when they had the faulty packaging on part 3 which was really tight. They later fixed that when it went retail and sent people replacements.
You got these 3 metal star pins in a pack, which was a nice little extra

No. Collector's box, volume 3 digipack inside a sturdy sleeve (nice fit since they corrected the sizing) and the art book. Now I'll have to have an eye on volume 2 for any offers.

Oh nice one, got lucky then  definitely a nice extra to have. Did you get any star pins with yours?

I went with the Amazon one, turned up this evening and Amazon must still have a few of the collectors boxes left  I was gonna go the Zavvi route but for the sake of £9 I didn't want to play Russian Roulette with Zavvi's 'customer services'.

I asked Anime Ltd. when they'd release the Standard Edition release but even they didn't have an ETA so those who want a physical release need to go with this for the time being. Netflix has the entire series so for those that only wanna watch there's that.

Parts 2 and 3 are taking forever to decrease to £20.

Might not do. It only seems be Zavvi even putting em on offer. Lot of sites still ask £35-£40 for this.
As mentioned there is a disc print error with this. It says 1-5 on disc 1 and 6-9 on disc 2. But its actually 1-4 on disc 1 and 5-9 on disc 2. So maybe that might play a part in the price drop on Zavvi.
Tried to cancel and re-order with this but, even though it still shows as 'processing', the cancel page keeps bringing up an error message when I submit cancellation request.
Ah well, still a good price!

This is available on UK netflix btw.
Also, it might not be to everyone's taste :P
A little bit mad, and a little bit silly. Makes you say to yourself "WTHF am I watching" quite regularly.
Totally different to a serious anime like Attack on Titan.

The free stream for KlK is on Wakanim, never worked out how to use the site though so I just had a VPN for crunchyroll. It's an english streaming site but it's all in french.

I think its more a generic description that hasn't been updated. Aniplex/AnimeLimited/AlltheAnime (they got a lot of names) can sell out really fast of their limited edition stuff.
Tokyo Ghoul collectors edition part 1 is completely sold out now and that had 1000 units. Barely got chance drop below the £43 rrp. Went £37 at Zavvi once and that was it. Gone. Hard to predict which will sell out.
Good price on the cowboy bebop collectors editions, ive got those aswell. They are OOP to, recently AlltheAnime got hold of a few more and are selling them at £25 each direct from them.
Gurren Lagann set annoys the hell out of me, as it includes the movies. The DVD version has the movies but the normal blu-ray release doesn't. Not much for consistency. Dont want splash so much cash just for that, or double dip and get a subar par DVD version. Ive seen versions of it on ebay go for around £60 or so. Bit out my price range i set myself. Was £100 on release

Interesting. I wonder if Amazon still have stock of the collectors box with the Blu-Ray of volume 3 here. It is still listed as so in the description and there's even some images from a reviewer posted in June, looks like the same one?
I might have to order one, I can always send it back. I picked up the collectors editions of the recent Cowboy Bebop 1&2 (Blu-ray) boxes, really cheaply on eBay (£33 for the pair on a Buy It Now listing!). Looking to collect the Gurren Lagann collectors set next as its quite addictive collecting these limited sets.

It is a fun series, rather crude at times but wouldn't expect anything less from Japan. I actually finally finished part 3 of this last night funny enough.
Its got a lot of similarities in its art style to the previously mentioned Gurren Lagann (also on offer). Very over the top characters in both shows. The company behind Gurren Lagann is called Gainax. Several staff broke off to form their own company called Trigger, and made Kill la Kill. Hence the similarities.

Good show, currently going through this myself.
If you like this then I recommend 'tengen toppa gurren lagann'. Similar style of show and just as stylistic.

You will love this, by far one of my favourite Anime although only started watching them this year but I've got through quite a lot.

Space Dandy collectors edition has the same problem and that dropped a lot in price. Likewise with Durarara collectors edition, which has faulty subtitles (which you can actually send away for replacement discs from AlltheAnime for that one)
