Not sure it's the kitchen roll that is thick.

I ordered Saturday just after 7pm, email confirming my order that came through immediately told me to wait till they emailed me or rang me before going to collect but said ordering after 7pm on Saturday should be able to be collected from noon on Monday. On Monday afternoon I was in the area so I called anyway...no order there! I was told WAIT for an email or a phone call. I've had neither & they've taken the amount from my credit card too.

You can't click and collect but you can check your local stock online, still in stock at Portsmouth and low stock at Havant

What will this do for me over a basin of soapy water , microfiber cloth and thick kitchen roll?

For you? Probably nothing I suspect though many of us find it quicker and better with a vac. I find it is the easiest way to keep the worktops streak free, quickly.

You won't have to make the soapy water, get the cloth and kitchen roll . it will also be quicker and more convenient. You don't have to buy it though.

Maybe online but my local store (Ayr) had loads of them in stock.
Got one to give it a go, the spray is a bit rubbish, the head just pushes on rather than screw so its prone to falling off. The vac seems good though but I will probably end up just using it with a standard bucket and sponge.

these Karcher window clears are brilliant, I bought one a few weeks ago, I even use it to dry the water of the car when I wash it, great for drying the shower and tiles too -- 100% Recommend

Using it in both directions? It's only designed for use in one direction but many people I found reporting streaks were using in both directions

i think it does more than just squirt. I have read some reviews on Amazon and it comes with a wiper and washable micro fibre cloth for agitating the window. Also includes window cleaning detergent

You can pick up a spray bottle for £1. Homebase have a better deal at £28.99

The spray bottle is rubbish, the cleaning head on it is flimsy, if you are like me and like to give the glass a good scrub. I gave up using it and just use a green scrubby sponge or a covered T bar now. Something similar to this.
Homebase does not include the spray bottle, so I think the B&Q offer is much better

I agree. According to the product description the Homebase one has a years guarantee but the B and Q one has two years.

Good deal I paid £35 at Homebase without spray bottle. I was quite sceptical when it was recommended after moaning about windows being the bane of my life. I did the whole house, conservatory inside & OUT! in an hour! Felt like I was suddenly looking out in HD
Honestly one of the best gadgets I've ever owned. Also use on the shower & mirrored wardrobes. Put it this way, if you buy your missus one for Xmas you won't be in the doghouse once she's used it :stuck_out_tongue:
