I wouldn't be worried about buggy because there's plenty of gameplay footage you can watch on YouTube over 40 hours worth which shows multiple locations vehicles weapons and everything in between and it's all pretty bug free to be honest thanks I think that's one of the reasons why they're done so much footage just to show how polished the game is

For one, I did not mention 'pirating' it anywhere? Implication is not fact.

Oh dear... A console-beating PC can be built for the same price as a console. Look at PC Part Picker. Of course it's even cheaper if you already have a PC to upgrade. On top of that online is free for PC, and games (like this) are literally half the price. Not to mention you can upgrade when you have money and don't lose backwards compatibility, unlike people like you who seem to love spending £30 on "remasters" that still barely hit 1080p 60fps.
And all of this without mentioning that PC is by far the best way to play games - biggest library, any peripheral you want, emulators, 4K... Need I go on?

If "I'll newsgroup it" wasn't an implication that you intend to pirate it, then show me a newsgroup that sells legit PC games (none exist). If not "I'll newsgroup it" is a statement of your intention to acquire it from a source where you can not possibly purchase it legally, therefore it would be piracy. There is no ambiguity in what you said and there is no grey area in between piracy and purchasing a game legally, "Implication is not fact" is not a get out of jail free card you can wave when you go around making stupid statements then try to backpedal to save face.

Just because you can buy something in the US, Russia or SE Asia for a fraction of the price doesn't mean you should. The low price in Russia is to combat piracy, and is working. Some revenue is better than no revenue. In our country we have a strong economy and are able to pay the proper price for games.
Buying games from foreign sources is little different to the TAX evasion that people get so vehement about.

1. Your statement alluding to pirating the game was clear. Unless you get your kicks from stitching together binary posts like some sort of electronic crochet: "Come on, don't **** me"

3. Move to Russia: "No problemo"

I was a PC gamer from 1999 to 2008, finally bought a 360 because I couldn't be bothered with driver issues, incompatibility issues, console exclusives and the eventual need to upgrade my rig for hundreds of pounds. Do I miss mouse control of fps games, hell yes. But not enough to go diving into the rigmarole again.
Pc games used to cost £29.99 on release in 1999, when the mimimum wage was £3.60ph (£540pm)
now they premiere at anywhere between £17 and £25 and a minimum wage job now pays 6.19 (£929pm)

There's a reason there's hardly any.
They are stupidly expensive to produce and maintain. There's a reason why R* are the only ones to have found any real success... they have money to burn and can afford the huge team of devs and ongoing additions/maintenance. To expect that kind of investment from a relatively small AAA team like Avalanche is insane. You'd end up with a compromised single player or a shoddy multiplayer. Who knows, with their lack of multiplayer experience it could've ended up a development nightmare with the game never even seeing release!
