Just no. Grow up, enjoy games and stop turning it into a stupid member waving contest.
It's embarrassing having people like you going around saying "PC MASTER RACE" - a term that has you using the same sort of rhetoric used by the nazis.
You think PC gaming is superior? Be mature about it.
(Heat added, game looks great)

No reviews yet, however this is built by the same studio that gave us mad Max capable of running at 60fps on a toaster.
Also if you go to YouTube and type just cause 3, there's loads of steamers have been given early access. There are 40 minute videos of gameplay which I trust more than a review score.
I watched a whole series of videos on it that Rooster Teeth made and it was looking so fun.

Mad Max was just sand, the odd car and sand. This will be more taxing, but I agree, they seem to have a decent engine, so I think this will be well optimised.

Only runs at 30fps on consoles.
Consoles are no longer toasters, they're electric can openers, at best.

The marketing has been pretty lame- I don't think they have much of a budget. Kinda stupid at this time of year not to market heavily. Shame really as it looks like it'll be amazing fun. Hopefully word of mouth will have it's sales grow over time.

Nothing wrong with it, as long as they don't mock the console users.
Hmm discounted heavily before release, I'll pass until reviews come out.

It's nothing to be worried about. This is slowly becoming the norm for PC games before and after release. And apart from that, I trust Nerdcubed's opinion - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E6exCjo5_q4

Well they can't really mock console players, I find Xbox live more fun than PC online. Also I'd like to see someone build a gaming PC for the price of an Xbox One £200 (console only) and run the new tomb raider at 1080p 30fps which the xbox one is.
wah0007
22 Nov 15#29
True, they shouldn't. It's very childish behaviour.
I'm a PC gamer and I'm not into consoles, but I wouldn't mock them.

Nobody cares. We play games for fun not for competition. Try sex, it's even better than a gaming PC

22 Nov 15#31
£200? That's not the going rate for an Xbox One, is it? Be honest.
Btw, you can build a PC for about £240 that will run the same games at 1080p 30fps. Also, I ran Batman Arkham Knight (notoriously bad on PC) at 1080p 30-50fps with a machine I made in 2010.
Danjw91
22 Nov 15#32
You can when they've been on offer. No chance. So you're saying you can buy a monitor and everything else for around say £250 then and run at 1080p on 30fps or higher? Haha I highly doubt that.
keebb9
22 Nov 15#33
Yes your right enjoy some of your games on XBOX ONE at 900fps
keebb9
22 Nov 15#34
lol I meant 900p resolution not FPS.
Danjw91
22 Nov 15#35
Id rather play a game at 900p which isn't even bad looking on the Xbox one than a PC with a £200+ graphics card, £185 i5 processor, £90 SSD and the rest adding upto £800+ that can't play games due to bad optimisation on PC! So look forward to the future games that have bad FPS and are unplayable and I'll play my Xbox just fine haha!

'PC Master Race' is just a casual joke. Lighten up and don't take things so seriously.
If we're including the price of a monitor, we should include the price of a TV for the Xbox One.
keebb9
22 Nov 15#37
LOL it's just a bit of banter
Danjw91
22 Nov 15#38
I love PC gaming, but people who say it think it is which yes it is better by far if you spend a fair bit of money.
Also I knew someone would say that, how can you include a TV? A TV is a household belonging you buy, not intending to use a console or a PC on it so in the actual way you could link your PC up to your TV as well means you don't have to buy a monitor, you just chose to spend £100-£200 or more on one.

I'd love a PC but for what I want I've worked out £1000 minimum in which I'd rather not spend that when I have fun on my Xbox one. I got rid of my gaming laptop as even though it was 16gb ram and i7 3.5ghz and 960m it started to struggle to run games at medium and I wanted high or ultra but I'd need to spend a fair bit of money which I can't justify as I don't play that often.
CookieMunzta
22 Nov 151#40
By your own logic, including the price of a monitor is silly too, as a TV is a household item (which works perfectly well with a PC).
Danjw91
22 Nov 151#42
It does indeed, I have a 4k TV and then bought an Xbox one. It would be too big to link a PC tower to it so I'd have to buy a monitor, if I didn't and had a 22inch Tv then I wouldn't include the price because you had that before the PC. Most household TVs are 32inch or more but more being 40 and most gaming monitors people want 140hz ones or much higher ones than 60hz so they get more FPS and want it at like 22inch-28inch

Danjw91, I can see by your replies that you're not actually someone who wishes to discuss things like this because, I assume (sue me), your personal experience/opinion, ideas, knowledge, etc. counts more than anyone else could ever tell you. Mind you, why would you grossly overprice PC components, e.g. £200+ graphics cards (VERY high for 1080p30fps gaming), £90 for an SSD??? £90?! Surely, you meant £26 when one was "on offer" here on HUKD just a few days ago, right? Or, when you claim you can't use a PC tower with your TV because, "It would be too big to link a PC tower to it so I'd have to buy a monitor." I find that one the most baffling. Especially when PCs can look like a Hi-Fi amplifier. But, best of all, that you consider a gaming PC to be "£1000 minimum!"
These are not realistic prices or examples. You either wish to discuss this seriously, or not. If not, I don't believe that you have anything further to add to the discussion in this thread. Let's not have a PC vs console argument.
Personally, my "£240" PC was based on a recent youtube video I saw. Heck, the best example of putting together incredibly cheap gaming PCs, is for everyone here to check out LinusTechTips on youtube. Their Scrapyard Wars series is fantastic at giving people tips on how to source cheap tech that can be built into gaming PCs, etc.. Apart from that, there are hundreds of videos on youtube, by many different users, that offer cheap gaming pc builds.
