168.33 EURO = 118.17 BRITISH POUND
So again... How to get 114.98

With cards like Halifax Clarity etc etc which give ideal exchange rate.

118.17 is with 0% fee.

Check MasterCard's rate

Can this be over clocked? Can't see the 'k' anywhere so guessing no

No, it can't.
Could get a couple hundred MHz with BCLK overclocking but not worth the time and stability.

anything under 130 is a decent price, isn't it?

i7 2600 for 105 from CeX. according to passmark it is a much better deal?

Don't use passmark for specific usage. If you're going to game with the CPU, look for CPU benchmarks, showing FPS, etc.

pass mark, cpu boss, gpu boss etc are not representative of real world performance at all

If you already have an older socket 1155 motherboard, yes.

On the payment page would I put 'my business is in sterling' or 'euro'? (using a visa) Thanks

i couldn't find any directly comparing the two. plus, surely a generic benchmark that is based on many tests is better than the performance of a single game, where in most cases, the GPU will have the most impact on fps.

Synthetic benchmarks aren't very useful especially when talking about gaming.
You said the 2600 is a much better deal because it's got a higher score on passmark but due to higher IPC games will run better with this.

This is perfect for my new build, just need gfx card now under £150ish to keep my build under £500

R9 380 would be decent.

I've been thinking more about this.
GFX Cards -290>280x/770>380/960
GTX 960 for £125 , R9 380 for £125, GTX 770 for £140 & R9 280X for £140.
I'm plumping for the 770 but still might hold out until black friday for further price drops.

Stupid question - if I buy this from Amazon Spain will everything be in Spanish?
adamspencer95

so as you show, 280x is best in terms of 'price:performance' as performance is usually higher at the same price as the 770. it depends on whether the games you play favour AMD or NVIDIA cards. The performance is so close that its only when a game engine prefers either card will any noticable difference be present.
280x usually has more on board memory which may help with higher resolutions and higher quality textures and some 'future proofing' although not usually worth thinking about in this price range.

Thanks for the help. Not really a big gamer. Just use for FIFA and maybe COD occasionally but nothing major. More into watching 1080P tv & film.

in that case buy whichever you can get the cheapest
