IKEA Family Card holders can enjoy £50 off a £300 spend. Sure, it's a lot of money, but handy if you are planning to buy something big, or even plan to visit over Xmas as it's real easy to get carried away in these places!
If you don't have a card, it's free and you can print a temp card instore.

Christ, anybody would think those IKEA discounts were something to shout about! It's simply low run o the mill discounts - 50 quid off 300 isn't even 17%... nearly every shop is giving discounts in that range. Just bought a dine-in at M&S yesterday, had £3 off food voucher, and a 10% off food voucher (handed the 10% off vouch first, then the £3 off and paid just 6 quid. 40% discount, now that's discount worth having.
Then with receipt I got a spend £30 and get £5 off (if you can add up that's identical ruddy percentage as the so-called BIG IKEA deal but you have to spend 300 quid!)- back down the aisle and got 3 more dine-ins, some to put in freezer etc. So spent £31 in total and that inc 4 bottles of plonk.

IYes you are right £50 off a £300 spend isn't a lot, I'm going to do what you did and instead of a sofa I am going to buy plonk and watch I am a celebrity get me out of here sitting on the floor

Dear Mr Magnus, this has left a bad taste on peoples mouth, it seams that having an Ikea family card is not so family orientated, looks like Ikea have favourites in the family, some of us won't be left in Mr Ikea will as a family. All men are Equal but in Ikea eyes some are more equal than others, I wanted the 50pound offer as I was going to buy a sofa, why wasn't I picked?

Hi!
I am responsible for the IKEA FAMILY program at IKEA in UK/IE. We have sent out a targeted offer to a selection of our members, which now appears on this website. Since different members have got different offers, it all gets confusing when mass communicated. If you are a member in IKEA FAMILY, you should rely on the direct communication from IKEA FAMILY via email/post/SMS/instore kiosk.
Best regards

I think it is personalized as I received a similar one for 10£ off if you spend 100£, print in store, with your family card.

How on earth is this a deal.... apart from being misleading in the extreme as 1 in 50 Ikea Family Card Holders are going to have this offer available, it is also communicated directly to the relevant customers. More HUKD baffling head scratching stuff here... heat for non deals, and freezing treatment for actual good deals.

I also got a £30 off £210 spend (thought £210 was quite a random amount?), but its a bit late for me, as I just spent £420 on new furniture at Ikea at the end of October! DOH!

If anŷone has got one of these offers and would not be using it, would they consider passing it on?
I'm just about to do a sizeable spend and this would ease the pain...
I know it's a big ask, but :smiley::smiley::smiley:

Another page posted about this and from the comments it sounds like different people are getting different amounts of money off certain spends, so i guess you need to go instore the check. Luckily i need a new mattress and bookcases for the kids, and after spending £400 a couple months back after moving house i could do with a discount :smirk:

yep ikea family card offers like these are usually specific to particular card holders.
a bit annoying that they don't make them universal considering how big ikea is.

All men are equal but not with Ikea, depending on the activity on your family card you will be chosen for gifts and offers, some people get free dinners the operator said so some of us have not received this offer.

Hi Ian, this was on a non-personalised Mail through the post. I know others have received the same.
It says to print the coupon instore at an IKEA kiosk and present with your family card at the till.
Hope that helps!
