They've also added Grid Autosport Drag Pack but those who purchased the top tier already have it with Autosport's season pass.

They've added GRiD. Which imo opinion is the best arcade racer ever ever (amazing with a steering wheel). No TVRs in the following titles, plus the atmosphere is not really the same in them, it remains the little jewel I will always go back to.

Forgot to say that it's definitely worth checking the steam sales too as lots will come up there for under a 5er but this is a good bundle to go for if you have none of the games.

Should be about £9.25 if paying via Paypal which is a bargain really.

It depends what you like and how much you play really.

i'm only a very light gamer compared to some on here but on the PC I mainly use the wheel for the F1 games and Assetto Corsa. It's not easy with the wheel and I'm better with the pad but if you want a good session it is fun.

Personally, I think this is a good bundle. I'm going to go for the middle one as I already have Dirt 3 and I'm a bit skint after a holiday but if you don't have any, it seems great value for <£10 imo.

Never played the GRID games but get good reviews. Dirt 3 I really enjoyed though and played right through with the pad and still loads of fun.

Thanks for the input Towelie. Any racing game you would recommend? What I mean by that is, would this bundle be enough to get started or is there something I should definitely try asap...

Everything works fine with a pad but the wheel definitely adds an element of realism to it.

I'm still probably faster with a pad though tbh and I wouldn't bother using a wheel for NFS type games - only the sims.

Logitech driving force GT is a good wheel to start on if you're a PC gamer as you can get them for £50 or less easily second hand.

Good question sulman, I suppose arcade but am open to try simulation. I've got a Xbox one controller. Would that be okay or would I need a steering wheel to get the most out of simulation?

As usual, humble did it again and gave us great goodies. Even though I want to try out Autosport and I'll also be getting an extra copy of overlord, I'm just going to go cheap and get the first 7. But thanks for the heads up on this.

operation flashpoint is an awesome game! currently playing it. completed first one on ps3. it is very satisfying to play the sniper and clear the mission from a good vantage point

Bloody hell, that's pretty bad. Maybe I got lucky and just happened to not get bundles like this because I don't recall grouping being that severe. Interesting how they generate different groups depending on which tier you choose. For example, since you chose the highest tier you got a code (second) with a game from each tier. Seems like a strategy to discourage code selling/sharing. Thanks for the heads-up since I think I'll only go for the dollar option due to this.

I know how the system works. I've just not seen grouping as bad as this before. Then again, I guess I don't have to deal with the problem as much since I'm more partial to IndieGala and Bundle Stars (plus others) than Humble Bundle. Even though the competitor bundle sites usually don't have as high-quality titles, you usually get single codes. I'll only get a Humble Bundle if it's very interesting and I almost never go for the highest tier due to the price. (Often $15, etc.)

I think if you want to avoid the grouping problem, you should go for themed bundles that have multiple publishers. That way, you'll get separate codes. Just my two pennies' worth.

You haven't had much experience with humble bundle then, because they have been known to group codes. Some times they can give you codes for example, and that can have X number of games from that bundle on one code.

So for example; say you owned Dirt 3 already on Steam and you purchased it again on a bundle where they did compile them ( like they did to me in the past ), and dirt was compiled on a code with another game that you did actually want or not have already, you would effectively lose your latest purchased copy of dirt 3 as you cant redeem the same game twice on Steam and Humble flat out refuses to re-issue keys individually when they do bundles where they have issued compiled codes.

Once upon a time :wink: However I think it was actually right after this bundle they changed their tone and put games back to single codes. Or maybe it was where they tried to take out gifting and then backed out after how badly it was received. Was awhile ago.

How do you mean? From my experience Humble Bundle has always either provided direct codes, or in the case of connecting your Steam account, has provided separate gift options for each code allowing somebody else to connect to a gift code externally. Never have I seen a whole lot of games as one code.

Is this worth getting if you bought the last Codemasters bundle ?

I did consider than although I'm sure I have a friend or two who would appreciate the game, which as the DLC is indeed separate I'll probably do :stuck_out_tongue:

Got this rubbish twice before..

The second time around humble compiled the codes so I couldn't gift them away to friends and family...

Thing is, I do think due to licensing issues we won't see any F1 games. That means there's not that many Codemaster games* to choose from for the BTA add ons :stuck_out_tongue:
*Not many games that get particularly good ratings :laughing:

- Maelstrom: The Battle for Earth Begins
- Grid 1 (I think that ones a given)
- Rise of the Argonauts (Last humble bundles game, hopefully they won't include it)

At least more individual DLC isn't very likely mind you considering the Grid 2 and Autosports DLC is in the $15 tier.

Just add the GRID code with the added DLC and it will upgrade your existing game with the DLC and added benefits.

On another note i've been waiting for another humble bundle for ages and i've got ever single game on there except the hospital one which im not arsed about.

Answering my own question, all the codes are separate even the individual DLC's for the games :smiley: Not liking that new button format mind you.

Have gone for the $1 deal, maybe consider the $15 on Friday for the Grid Autosport pass.

Hospital Tycoon doesn't look half as good as Theme Hospital, although frankly I've spent enough time in one in recent years to steer clear from spending my time managing one, even virtually.
