It's very unlikely to fit any other tablets as these cases have a hard plastic tray that's exactly sized/shaped so that the Hudl snaps tightly into it and there are correctly located cut-outs for all the connections and buttons. Any other product would need to be identical to a Hudl for it to fit.

Case arrived today and is pretty good quality but, as suggested, the Connect/Linx 7 doesn't fit properly because of the large size of the tray. Still, it was worth a punt for a pound, and it will probably end up in a Charity Shop now. Poundland are doing cases which do the job, and a Neoprene Sleeve can be bought for a pound off Amazon.

'don't understand why they've stopped selling the hudl'
Because Tesco lost loads of money by false reporting profits, and are making cutbacks.
The movies app business was sold and their computer business the people in charge of development have left/been given the push?
Tesco have no plans to bring out a Hudl3 yet, that does not mean that when the turn the business round, they might change their mind.
The Hudl2 is a great tablet, instead of going the route of reducing the price they should have increased the price and added more spec, like 3g of ram, 32g rom, and a sim card and move the hdmi port to the side rather than the bottom and maybe offer a 10 inch version.

A number of reasons: Micro$oft struck a deal with Tesco to sell Windows tablets and Tesco were having headaches with the number of returns they were getting. It's very expensive to develop a tablet as opposed to rebadge an OEM one, which many other companies do.

Yes this is definitely a case specific to the original Hudl.
The equivalent Hudl 2 case is a different size and does not have the 2 folds in the top cover or the wrap-around magnetic tab.

The Hudl 2 is 8.3" size. This for the original Hudl.
There may be confusion as the description says-
"Slim fit case with magnetic clasp and hard shell back to protect your Hudl 2 stand positions: tilted and upright"
meaning the stand has 2 positions.

I wonder if it will be suitable for the Connect/Linx 7. I know the cutouts will be in the wrong position, but I was thinking of general protection and the stand features. Ah well, it's only £1 so will give it a punt. Ordered the Brown one from the link given (Brown not Black).
