Maybe not a deal as such but I just discovered how to use up unwanted PAYG SIM credit to pay for apps on Google Play. I believe the same method will work on IOS devices. This works on EE, O2 and Three. EE (Chitterchatter) often have PAYG SIM cards on eBay with £5 credit for a quid so this is a very cheap way to buy apps, music and movies.
I don't have an Apple device so I haven't tested it but O2 has a link to doing this http://www.o2.co.uk/chargetomobile
and I suspect that other providers will do it too.
1. (optional) remove your usual SIM from your phone and insert the SIM with the unwanted credit.
2. Start up your phone and turn on data (even if WiFi is on).
3. Open Google Play, go to My Account, Payment Methods, Add Payment Method, Mobile Billing.
4. Choose whatever paid-for app you want and make sure you select Mobile Billing as the payment method.
5. You can now stick your usual SIM back in your phone but you will still be able to charge apps to your SIM with the unwanted credit. The payment method also shows up in other devices such as tablets.
6. Once your credit has been used up, go to Google Wallet https://wallet.google.com/manage/w/0/#paymentMethods:
on your PC and remove the mobile billing facility for that SIM card.
7. Repeat as required!
looks like you can buy movies and music as well...not just apps.

Been doing this for years with t mobile sims. Its also the reason why several years ago they now limit the number of sims per 3 months. Pound shops still sell them though with £5 on.
Except I made an app (did naff all) and then used the credit to purchase it. Think it was listed in the top 500 at one point, and then for some reason joe public bought it, gave it 1 star reviews saying it was broken and got it taken down. Google takes about 30%, would make £1.80 per sim. Was boring and tedious, and destroyed several backplates of my old phone from removing the sim card so many times. Decided other money making ways were far more profitable.

Me too, I've also found that you can get free food by stealing it from Tesco, and save money on petrol by driving off before you pay.
Tesco Mobile’s pay as you go Triple Credit tariff gives you three times as much credit when you top up with £10, £15, or £20. So you could get up to £40 of credit for free. Furthermore, when you top up £15 or more you can add an extra 5000 free texts, 150 free minutes or 500MB of free data – the choice is yours.
In the end I used the hmvgamecredit website as I couldn't find an alternative. I keep hoping something will turn up.

I am looking into the same - did you find an alternative? I notice o2's site here http://www.o2.co.uk/charge-to-mobile lists Microsoft store as a place which accepts charge to mobile, but I can't manage to find it in my MS account website, so wonder if it can only betransferred via a windows phone

Is there a way to use o2 sim credit for xbox live credit?
I read reviews for http://buygamecredit.com/ but the good ones are obviously staff, and real ones are very very bad, sadly even xbl "advertise" the company I think.
Any alternatives? Work arounds? Experience?

Worked for me only last week with a preloaded sim. I have found that for the last few months it has been very temperamental though. Sometimes I have to take the sim out, reboot the phone, open play store, go to buy and cancel, reboot phone, put sim in, go to buy and add payment method then it works. Sometimes I have to do that a couple of times, it is really temperamental lately but I am still able to use EE preloaded sims to buy on Google Play.

I have transferred sim credit onto neteller they appear to allow you 3 sims a month. Don't even bother if you are not going to verify yourself.....They made me go through hoops to get fully verified...like showing my passport on a webcam with my live face next to it. registering a bank account was also interesting as they wanted my IBAN number (international equivalent of a standard bank account no) and the international sort code. had to ask my bank to supply these...I have had the account for a few months and it is going well....I have found out that they charge £5 for withdrawals to a bank account. So probably better to just buy things off Amazon with it. Prepare for frustration though....

It worked on the 100gb sim, I was able to buy a 10p app but once I switch sims back the option to pay with sim credit disappears.
supervalue
22 Dec 15#252
It worked after I reduced the boku amount so that following texting Y (which cost 10p), there was still enough credit on the sim for the boku payment. E.g. £5 credit on sim, so boku £4.50 leaving credit for the text.
On another note, I could only select the boku payment to be £4.50 or £5. Anyone know if there is a way to bill smaller increments e.g. £4.90?

18 Dec 15#249
When trying to top up a Neteller account with Boku via an EE PAYG sim it failed a couple of times. When you reply to their text with Y, I was being charged 10p thus didn't have enough credit for the transaction. Make sure the amount you are transfering to boku leaves enough credit for the verification text!

Max daily amount 65.00 GBP
Max weekly amount 195.00 GBP
Geemac

According to Neteller I can transfer another £20.50?
So looks like there must be an unknown limit with Boku?

I don’t think you need a Neteller account to buy iTunes vouchers with O2 though Boku. Log-in to your O2 account and you can do it directly from the O2 website? If you move credit to Neteller first you lose 11%
dealondeals
26 Nov 151#210
You set up an account with neteller.com it is a bit like a bank where you can deposit money in via most methods eg debit /credit card they also allow depositing via mobile (boku) that takes £26 max per day from your mobile and after charges 11% puts the remainder in your neteller account. So how do you access this cash well I understand that you can transfer it to a bank account, get a prepaid neteller mastercard, or pay via neteller if the retailer accepts neteller.
The depositing by mobile (via boku) is very straightforward this is all contained in the neteller site. you enter your mobile number and the amount you want to deposit and they send you a text the you just have to reply "y" to and the money is instantly transferred.
I am totally confused, I pay £15 per month on Big Talker with O2 so I do end up with a lot of credit. You don't need to be tech savvy to know the difference between a "good deal" and straight up theft.
You said it yourself; "most paid for apps from the playstore you can download free from torrent sites."
As a tech savvy individual you would understand that torrent sites are not official distributors and are most commonly used for sharing pirated digital goods...for free.
So, yeah, the comparison is exactly the same.... hence the reason ISPs were blocking these torrenting sites.

The O2 PAYG sim is called the Big Talker. I ordered one a couple of weeks ago, popped it in a spare phone then waited for the email to say I'd get £20 extra if I topped up with £10. I phoned up to put £11 credit on (the extra £1 allows for the money taken off for the Psn confirmation text). I waited until the extra £20 was added then I used the £30 to top up my PSN wallet.

If you can load up neteller via boku, you don't have to add it to pre-paid mastercard if a merchant has netteler option directly right?

You load your netteller account via boku (which takes money from your phone credit) and spend using the neteller mastercard.

Go to neteller.com and set up an account then transfer mobile credit via Boku. then you can get a neteller mastercard and spend the balance. There are limits commissions etc but this is the quick answer.

Might be useful:
Tesco Mobile’s pay as you go Triple Credit tariff gives you three times as much credit when you top up with £10, £15, or £20. So you could get up to £40 of credit for free. Furthermore, when you top up £15 or more you can add an extra 5000 free texts, 150 free minutes or 500MB of free data – the choice is yours.
Any way to build up the various credits on sim cards by sending to a Google wallet type thingie

Opening post
I don't have an Apple device so I haven't tested it but O2 has a link to doing this
http://www.o2.co.uk/chargetomobile
and I suspect that other providers will do it too.
6. Once your credit has been used up, go to Google Wallet
https://wallet.google.com/manage/w/0/#paymentMethods:
on your PC and remove the mobile billing facility for that SIM card.
7. Repeat as required!
looks like you can buy movies and music as well...not just apps.

I read reviews for http://buygamecredit.com/ but the good ones are obviously staff, and real ones are very very bad, sadly even xbl "advertise" the company I think.
Any alternatives? Work arounds? Experience?
am still trying to do the same
For example, I setup mobile billing with 3, done. Next I insert an O2 SIM, reboot, only O2 billing appears.
Doesn't work with Giff Gaff though
Here is the email they sent to me:

On another note, I could only select the boku payment to be £4.50 or £5. Anyone know if there is a way to bill smaller increments e.g. £4.90?
You can NOT verify your account before you load money.
On my first O2 sim I was able to transfer over £40. In 3 transactions. Maybe the system didn’t catch up to what I was doing?
I thought Neteller account always has to be "verified" in order to be used (to rule out duplicate accounts). Geemac, you said you didn't verify it - do you have any limitation to use it? Do you get virtual Master card?
How long have you been trying to add more credit to Neteller and are you trying to do it from an O2 sim?
I have verified account still it don't allow me to add anything more than £30 from a sim
I know and accept I’m limited to £65 a month with an unverified Neteller account. So my difficulties may be something to do with O2?
Min amount 2.60 GBP
Max per transaction 26.00 GBP
Max daily amount 65.00 GBP
Max weekly amount 195.00 GBP
According to Neteller I can transfer another £20.50?
So looks like there must be an unknown limit with Boku?
The depositing by mobile (via boku) is very straightforward this is all contained in the neteller site. you enter your mobile number and the amount you want to deposit and they send you a text the you just have to reply "y" to and the money is instantly transferred.
So I am stuck so far...
However, when I try to buy an app using this payment method, Googple Play says "This payment method has been declined".
Anyone else used the EE credit?
Thanks for all the Help.
Signed up with Neteller , When I try to load money with Boku. I keep having to sign back in to Neteller again, again and again. It keeps signing me out.
