Perfect for the cold winter months ahead just plugs in the lighter socket. This has to be HOT

How silly are some people? The lighter socket is switched off when the engine is switched off.

Just don't forget to unplug it. Flat battery in a very short time.

I have one that runs when the car is on and off and one that only works when the car is on. Easy to make a mistake.

I've never sat in my car on an icy cold day and thought "You know what, I wish my **** was being heated right about now"

My car has heated seats, and a heated steering wheel in fact - you honestly don't know what you're missing.

My mother is eighty eight and weighs six stone so feels the cold, she loved the heated seats in my previous car, I may well buy one and keep it in the boot specifically for when I give her a lift.
Aldi are doing one very similar this week too.

Thought this was great idea to keep the 'ol aris warm in the coming months, but then I have Zafire, so I keep plenty warm!
Seriously, I miss the heated seats of our previous car so a great idea for a tenner.

Have 2 of these, they're great in Scottish winters when your car is iced up on the inside aswell as out !!

Could be good for the missus for indoors. She's always complaining she's cold.

Bought one of these last year and it's great. Yes it does get in the way but happy to put up with it to keep warm. Very powerful and have to turn it off after a while.

I've got one of these in my van. Well worth the money. I'm thinking of hard wiring it in to make it neater.
My lighter socket works when the key isn't in also, I must be silly. I've never had a car any different.

Just buy a kit off eBay (£33) and fit them (presuming it has covers and not glued to the foam). Kit comes as 4 pads so you could do base and back on drivers seat and both bases on the bench. Then you can put your jacket/gloves/hat on the bench and prewarm them before getting out of the van.

Does anyone know if these have British Standard Kite Mark. No heating in car so I'm been looking at various ones on Amazon but put off by some brands which caught fire and/or blew electrics in car. In the States there is an Amazon Basics version available. Assuming if Lidl selling stricter selling rules than third party Amazon seller poss from out of UK?
