Just to contradict some of the other comments here, I think the game is fantastic. The campaign perhaps doesn't hit the storytelling heights of some of the marketing material (read: Hunt the Truth) but it's still good fun, especially played co-op with friends. The multiplayer is great though, Warzone is a lot of fun and the whole thing runs buttery smooth.

This seems to be getting quite cheap faster than I would have thought. Is it not selling well? Got good reviews and is Halo...

Good price, though it is dropping rapidly, I traded in my copy for £35 to CEX a two weeks ago after only paying £31 for it. They now only offer £23.

Exactly. Halo never been the same since 343i took over. I purchased the game mostly due to the hype. What it let it down for me is campaign and multiplayer. Campaign short and story line is just ridiculous and multiplayer is no way near like Halo 2 or Halo 3.

The free DLC well maps they just look awful compared to Halo 4 or previous maps :disappointed:

Quite short longevity if you aren't interested in the multiplayer. 6/7 hour campaign then sell on after a couple of days and get your money back.

Yesterdays patch has **** the campaign for lots of players, myself included. If you die, the game crashes to dashboard and continues to crash when re-loading the level; not helpful when playing on legendary.

I'm playing the campaign single player and am not impressed, a big step down from the previous games. Technically it's amazing but the story is just full, you hardly get any time as Master Chief and it's all over as quickly as a CoD campaign.

Why would the multi player be like halo 2 or 3? They are old games. Play halo 3 if you want to play a game like halo 3! It is really good if you give it a bit of time, and has clearly moved on from the old games.

shopto are fine, used them plenty. Game is awesome, short campaign but plenty to do multiplayer

There's just too many great games out this Autumn so they're driving down the prices - great for us :smiley:

The magazine reviewers all gave it good review scores, despite the text of the reviews often pointing out a lot of negatives - like the pathetic 5 hour campaign and the pay-to-win multiplayer.

But if you check out the actual user reviews, like the user reviews on Amazon.com, it tells a very different story. 50% of 1000 reviewers have scored it 1 or 2 stars. 6.6 user review on metacritic.

Microsoft paid a lot of money to get those high review marks from 'professional' reviewers.

Personally I thought it was a truly terrible game. And they completely lied about the game being about Master Chief, only get to play as Master chief for maybe 2 hours of game time.

Sorry but you are wrong. Even when Bungie was at the hellm the games varied in quality; but are talking sublime solo campaign (Halo and ODST), to simply great (all the others). The truth is that Halo4 was still excellent. And halo 5 is awesome on line, too.
