This is a great deal for this set. Normally £250, but quite often on sale for around £150. But £100 for this set is a bargain - especially as all the tools have a lifetime guarantee.

Seems a good deal - heat added, but noticed you are getting cold votes op.
Has it been much cheaper than this people of hukd's?

Not sure - I got a "has this been listed before" message initially but that was for the deal at £150. This is easily the cheapest I have seen it for a long time...

Haven't seen it cheaper with the ratchet set included. Usually around £125.

not really a deal! generally this price anyway but i have had a set for 6 years and there well worth the money! expecially as they come in a carry case which is convenient and prevents you loosing your tools or having to spend ages searching for things.

nice item , i dont think the ratchets are lifetime as its moving parts , but at some halfords the staff are pretty cool ,

Halfords changed their policy on moving parts and they are now included: I remember getting the email from them :-)

I remember getting this for £135 earlier on in the year. It was on for £150 plus a 10% code. Personally I've not seen it this cheap hence the hot vote

This is the best price I've seen it.
I have said before on these posts, if your buy one scan your receipt in and keep a copy, the receipt's tend to be printed on thermal paper and will fade.
Some stores are fine with the guarantee, but others will want to see the receipt and a faded bit of thermal paper 10 years old won't be good enough

surely retail regulations only deem adequate proof that an item was bought from a store is required, receipt or not? If this is own brand wouldn't it be proof enough?

Have been waiting for a deal on the 120 set but this is a sweet deal for 170 set. Most of the time i have seen this set on offer for £125 so for £100 its has to be HOT, and the fact i've just blown £100 quid on it
Cheers.

Paid £100, was a good few years ago though. Excellent set and mine is lifetime guarantee which reminds me I need to take a ratchet back

Took back a torque wrench yesterday that was made in 2009, they are date stamped and they exchanged it without issue!
I lost my trade card, I now don't qualify for one, gutted :disappointed:
