It's not to inform everyone that you have a baby in the car. It is to inform emergency services, in the event of an accident, that there is a baby/child in the vehicle.

Apologies Inked... I read back to front with a saving of £5 and costing £19.99! In that case, yes, even just for the protector mat it's a deal. Lucky I didn't vote cold first time around!

I'd say the sign is the least useful - why the need to inform everyone that you have a baby travelling in your car at times?!
The seat protector is useful but can often be picked up for £11/12 anyway, and I guess the organiser has its uses but kids shouldn't be encouraged to be leaning forwards out of the protection of their hbb booster anyway.
usefulness of items aside, although it's a saving on halfords I don't think it's a particular bargain
